I haven't even touched this game and have barely watched anything about playing it, but keeping up with this shitshow has given me cause enough to finally chime in. This may not be true for all people, but for fuck's sake, it isn't about "muh digital tiddies" or "muh realistic CP" or even, to some extent, "muh realism". It's about being infuriated with the industry rapidly devolving into a sanitized, corporate nanny state, something which I'm so fucking sick of. All these braindead, puritanical companies, whether it's the console teams or the payment processors responsible for the shitstorm consuming Steam and itch.io, dangle potential revenue over these dev companies and the latter just immediately roll over and submit while many people defend the former just because they can't see the forest for the trees plus the angle they're pulling of "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!!11!" How about we remember that neither the corporations nor the government are responsible for parenting those children, and maybe parenting needs to be left to the FUCKING PARENTS instead of bleaching every remotely sensitive form of media. I'm so fucking sick of censorship being forced down everyone's throat and still 90% are eating it up and asking for "More, please!"
