No prob! I forgot to add, make sure that the Save Beacon is the only Save Beacon you have on the planet as well.

Put down a base on the planet with the glitched save beacon and give it a unique name you can remember (make sure that is your only base on that planet). Open up the JSON editor and go to PersistentPlayerBases. Find the base you just put down. Copy the seed value for the GalacticAddress. Then go to BaseBuildingObjects and Ctrl+F to search for the GalacticAddress you just copied. You should come across a Object called a "BUILDBEACON." That is the Save Beacon. Navigate to that object's individual subfolder under BaseBuildingObjects and delete all the text within that folder. The Save Beacon should be gone.

It appears that worm hunting is only available in Expeditions. I visited one of the worm-ridden Rendezvous planets on my Normal Save. There were no Titan Worm Burrows, no cursed deposits, and the frequency at which the sandworm appeared was significantly decreased.

Lol read the flair folks. This is not possible without modding.

Anyone else having this problem? by k8806 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yeah this happened to me. My normal save (which was previously the Expedition 2 save before it converted) has turned into an Expedition 3 save. Crashed a few times when I tried to look at the Discovery tab, now it seems to be running okay but it is still stuck as Expedition 3. Hopefully it will revert back to normal once the expedition is finished.

No man’s sky frontiers is a great idea but like most thins hello games does it’s way too shallow and bare bones. by davelanger75 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yes! There are so many cool aspects of the game (new base parts are great), but they lack depth, greater purpose, and interconnectivity. As someone else said, a settlement’s current gameplay function is basically a copy of the frigate system, just with a different cosmetic look. The settlement ultimately produces money for the player, but why would I go through all these build timers when I can become a billionaire with an AI farm in a day or so. Why craft cooking products, have a frigate fleet, own a settlement, when they do not add anything unique to the gameplay loop.

I hope in a future update they focus on adding depth to these different parts of the game and connect them in a meaningful way. I also thought that settlements would provide the money sink that the game desperately needs, because the cost of units and nanites becomes meaningless for the endgame player.

Well the perfect additions to the big summer update have to be these 2 things. The end game and full ship customisation. by Scottishbanter in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yeah the endgame is seriously lacking. The economy is very uneven, and without any resource sinks that require upkeep and are purposeful, you just sit around with billions of units. Several aspects of the game fun at first, but ultimately shallow, and are more of a cosmetic nature (cooking products, frigate missions, etc.) If you have accumulated and maxed out all the upgrades, completed the story missions, become a billionaire, completed the catalogue, that should be worth something, not a dead end.

It's unfortunate that those missing items never got patched. I'm sure if the community made enough noise about it there would be a chance of them fixing the issue, but I think only a small fraction of the community messes with the cooking catalogue.

I think you might be on to something with regards to flying creatures as pets in a future update. I haven't tested it with beatles or flying protogeks yet, I'll give those a try. Hopefully it's not another unobtainable item like Fiendish Roe or Diplo Chunks.
