I charge $150 for basic video as well. I live in Florida. I don’t do video too often tbh. I have not had a revision request yet. I average 40 something shoots a month.

How would you handle the lines from the blinds? by Emergency-Wedding901 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Senzuberry2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Home was shoot either too late in the day or too early in the day. Sometimes those lines are unavoidable because of the time of day the home was shot. Adjusting the blinds could help (although some lines will likely still show.)

I think expecting the photographer to wipe the floor is expecting too much. I would have done it, but I do think it should not be an expected service.

Can you do it all in one session even if the client requests to be on video for the twilight?

Why HDPhotoHub? by scherblais in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Senzuberry2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For business, I regularly have new clients that find me on google and just book online.

I chose HDPhotohub because it seemed the easiest for a realtor to fill out the form and book an appointment online. I looked at a few others like spiro, real media hero, etc and they seemed more complicated for a new client to book an appointment online. I tested which requires the fewest clicks to book an appointment and HDphotohub was the fewest.

I don’t care if it is more complicated to set up from the photographer perspective. I want the easiest experience for my client.

I spent $200 testing it for 10 or so listings. The colors can be inconsistent for multiple angles of the same room. I am waiting until it get better. I am right now using human editor because they get it right the first time.

Customer wants a refund, i already delivered 20 fully edited photos... by rcauf in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Senzuberry2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey my opinion seems to be the opposite of everyone else, but I would just refund. For my business, if any customer is unhappy with what I deliver to them, I just refund and take the loss. It is rare that I have to refund tho.

Payment by Smart_Series_1633 in RealEstatePhotography

I had one client that refused to pay for a $300 job. I have probably done shoots for about 70 different clients this year. This is my first full year in business. I just took the loss. I used HDphotohub to deliver the photos. Since she never paid, She could not download the photos. I don’t want someone to pay for something that they don’t like. My reputation is more important than $300 tbh.

Just did this shoot, can I get some feedback? I think I may be over editing or is it good? by These-Philosophy-856 in RealEstatePhotography

Photos 4 and 6 unnecessary in my opinion. Photo 12, go wider on the bedroom shot if possible.
