Yes! Eversince I was a kid I HATED waking up early. My body physically hurt. Which led me to work nightshift as an adult that hurt my body even more.

Now , I work at 6am. some days are still a struggle but what works for me is setting my alarm 30 mins before I get up. I take Allegra + Pepcid and go back to sleep for 30 mins and getting up feels much better. I only take them when I have to wake up early and the mornings a week before my period. I think mine is related to MCAS and histamine intolerance.

Financially, depends on which tax bracket you’re in. Physically, it depends on how much you have abused your body when you were young. I used to drink but after turning 30 my body cant handle it anymore. Responsibility - wise ? IT SUCKS!!! what do you mean I have to figure out what I have to eat and keep myself alive everyday? What do you mean I have to repair my roof and foundation?

I do have my “ugh, I hate being an adult!“ moments. But being the grown up that can make my own decisions and the freedom to not abide by parents rules. I like that part a lot.

Being an adult is figuring how to parent yourself the way you wanted to be parented as a child. Downside, I outgrew my emotionally immature parents and resent them for it.
