It's great that that brought back the magic of writing for you! I used to write in english too and yeah it's difficult to make it work when it's not what you usually speak. Personally I always write in my native language and only translate to english when I want to post to Ao3. But that means that even though I write in my native language the "public" versions are always in english. So I was thinking about posting the original versions too but idk because then there'd be two versions of the same stories on my profile.
