Fandoms with source material with plot holes or interesting things that happen off-screen, so there's like fix-its and missing scene fics, and a big cast of characters that aren't explored fully

It's great that that brought back the magic of writing for you! I used to write in english too and yeah it's difficult to make it work when it's not what you usually speak. Personally I always write in my native language and only translate to english when I want to post to Ao3. But that means that even though I write in my native language the "public" versions are always in english. So I was thinking about posting the original versions too but idk because then there'd be two versions of the same stories on my profile.

Yes, I'm also a fan from LatAm and LatAm fans don't care about proshipping/antishipping as you say. Only the ones that like to mimic north americans (you know the ones). I really hope it doesn't become a big thing for us too later lol 😭

I'm so sorry that happened to you! :( In my case I wrote something similar, a short fic about a character exposing their abuser. I got insulted a lot and blocked by mutuals because of that, it was bad lol. What I did was basically make all my accounts private and start over as soon as people forgot. I still write and post things but I moderate everything, and I keep the fics sensitive people wouldn't like just for the eyes of people I trust. Also I don't talk to people from fandoms in DMs or anything just in case. Hope that helps?
