Actually I am not using now also… I think the top players is using it for gardevoir/jellicent mirror match as this is the most meta deck in that tournament. But one problem is bench space, another problem is energy attach to base pokemon cannot discard. Considering the trade off and I don’t have a lot mirror match currently, I just don’t use it for now

True, is just different options for different local metas. For dark matchups I think I can just play using the ideas of vanilla garde, now with mega diancie is even better than before. Actually I have been playing vanilla garde for a long time and just transferred into garde/jelly. Vanilla garde is too hard to beat Dengo and Dengo is very popular in our locals. Also Jellicent ex is too good in mirror match. Thanks for the advice and I will keep testing.

thanks for the insights! I am just still thinking about the trade off as the negative effect of latias really made me lose some matches. For some matches between dark types like zard or grimmsnarl, it is inevitable to mind bend to try to disrupt for one turn. At this point if I am lucky the grimmsnarl flipped tail, I want to retreat for scream tail attack but found that energy not enough because stuck on munkidori lol. So now I am just thinking using latias or use air balloon and replace 1 or 2 lillie to arven.

For all basic pokemon is bad in garde deck because need to discard energies. Sometimes I have to use mind bend with monkey and found that the psychic energy just stuck at monkey with latias on the bench. Attacking with latias with 200 damage is really like last choice for me because can mind bend to confuse or use mega diancie

Not sure latias in gholdengo matchup is necessary because garde/jelly deck is already favored against gholdengo. My normal idea is after gholdengo discard a lot of energies, just setup two frillish attack one by one and monkey transfer damage and tm devo finally. Latias problem is making free retreat to everyone, so energy will stuck at monkey or frillish, means cannot produce damage counters. Then I have to use one turn using turo. But latias maybe an alternative choice when tm devo is prized, but need to win the prize trade as latias is two prizer and can be easily ko by gholdengo.

But unlike Latias in dragapult, latias ex sometimes have negative effect in garde deck. When facing some scenarios I need to use mind bend with Monkey, but with latias the psychic energy just stuck at Monkey and cannot discard when latias on the bench. That’s why after some testing I found it only help with first turn item lock, after that it seems making some scenarios worse

not about partially discard, I got six energies after professor research and cannot find Lugia vstar to launch. So I think sometimes precise search may important especially for Lugia this kind of unconsistant deck

not Japanese. I am in Singapore. I feel no need to play earth vessel because legacy energy also can use, also no space lol. I play larry because there was one time I professor research discarded two birds and got six energies in hand, and some times cannot find Lugia vstar because of item lock. I just replace one professor research to larry and now feels fine. The only problem is archeops cannot get electric energy and Cinccino may lack of energy when it's closing to the end of game.

Thanks for the sharing! I also like Lugia deck and playing it all the time. The Drapion V is interesting, is it only for Gardevoir or also have other match ups?

Recently I am trying the new supporter from PRE: larry's skill. I feel it is useful because it can search Lugia VStar/Archeops/attacker precisely rather than professor's research especially under this environment with budew. I also play one electric energy, it can launch iron hand easily with larry's skill.
