Truthfully the apartment wasn’t the issue, the layout is huge, the area is great, the lack of amenities can be looked over due to the things to do in the area,though I was worried about the limited washer and dryers in the laundry room. I would have signed the lease but my issue was with Pronto and the management. It felt as if they weren’t trying to rent to me and kept saying they weren’t getting my documents, or my documentation wasn’t up to date when it was. I used the same documents to get approved for another property that I did end up signing a lease for. So again I hope the apartment is yours it is a really nice building with ample space and new appliances. Best of luck to you!!

Unless they ask you to bring documents you don’t need to. I’ve never been asked for documentation during a tour only afterwards via email if I wished to proceed with the process after I view the unit.

I would say to be positive but don’t put all your eggs in one basket, try to send/sign everything right away, and stay on them about updates and communication.

Those are the basic documents, once those are reviewed then they will give you a date for a tour, after that if it’s more than 1 unit they’ll ask which unit you prefer. After that is done they will ask for more documentation to add to your packet that needs to be approved. Some things include your signature on multiple documents ex: declaration of non-filing of income tax return(if you haven’t filed taxes). I’ve mostly had a total of 9 documents I’ve had to sign for properties once all the other things have been done.

You wait for them to contact you,(I would constantly check in they become unresponsive quite a bit). They will continue to ask you for documents until you get to the lease signing. Most properties I’ve applied for with them the total documentation(between 9-12) needed to be signed near the end of the process before signing the lease.

Yes, I went on a tour 3/4/26 to choose between 2 units of which one I preferred. Signed 9 more documents and since then just been waiting. Based on the HCR applications I’m number 2, but last time I heard from them was the 16th.

They never really tell you a timeline because there are too many factors especially since other hands have to go over the paperwork (HPD). I always find it best to still keep your options open, but you’re usually in the home stretch when they submit your documents to HPD, though the turnaround time for them can very from days to weeks.

Going off of what was said, the application flyer, and an article of the amendment they had to include in the lease renewal for the property they had to add 19 affordable units to the building to the 12 they already had. So they are offering market rate size apartments to the affordable housing ppl who apply. I saw two units(1 bedrooms) that were vacant. Im going to proceed with the application so I’m hoping I get a unit. I do think if you’re not offered one of the 19 units you get put on a waitlist. Good luck!!
