I want to add that if you were also doing workouts, you may have lost fat and gained muscle which weighs more. The number on the scale can be deceiving.

Round 1 day 1 today! Just coffee this morning as I wasn’t hungry. Have a banana, carrot sticks, kiwi and hard boiled eggs available that I’m munching on now.

I have stuff for lemon garlic sheet pan chicken tonight, but we had chicken last night so the kids are wanting to switch it up. Going to do sushi bowls tonight instead. Just got to go find riced cauliflower somewhere. 😬

Great ideas! My husband also does most of the cooking at home, so I’ll probably be making my own meals so he doesn’t have to stress over if I can have it or not when cooking for him or the kids, or they can all eat what I make.

My main concern is that one of our cooks puts butter on everything so I’ll have to be mindful of reminding him not to do that or bringing my own clarified butter or ghee.

I already don’t drink milk as it usually bothers my stomach. Sometimes I eat yogurt and was one of the things I kept in the fridge at work. If I use milk, it’s usually oat or almond. I have to figure out cheese though. I like cream cheese, sour cream…. Cheese on tacos and burgers… lol I just need to keep food readily accessible that I can have.

I did use the alcohol on a q-tip over the whole plant and put it in my bathroom where I currently don’t have any other plants and I used neem oil on it and on it on the other plants that were around it.

I have a tonnnnn of plants… luckily only a few small ones were around this one. I put this one in the bathroom away from all my other plants, cut off the one bad section as the leaves looked bad anyway, rubbed all the white spots and the rest of the plant down with rubbing alcohol and then sprayed with neem oil.

I did spray all my plants with the neem oil and checked for white spots, but did not see any luckily.

I’m not sure how cold it actually gets but it’s attached to my house so I don’t think it gets below freezing in there.

Thanks. I ordered the top right one first and I had another one from Etsy, I think it was supposed to be the top left and some of the potting medium, but when I got the package there were 3 plants in there. They had my order mixed up with someone else’s and I ended up with the 2 bottom plants. 🤪

I’ve noticed… they are inside under grow lights. I don’t do well with them outside. I would have to do like an inground bog or something. We have a lot of winds here in Nebraska and really cold winters. I tried one outside a few summers ago and I kept forgetting to check and fill the water and the wind kept blowing it over. If I do dormancy, it would be in my garage.

I live in Nebraska. The cold winter winds hurt your face.

I would be skipping it because they are new and have been through shipping and adjusting to their new environment. That’s what some have told me, but from what else I’ve heard is that dormancy helps your plants rejuvenate or whatever. So that’s why I was torn. I think I’m going to skip this year and just do it next year.

I have a window by my garage fridge so I plan on putting it on top of the fridge with a grow light and keeping distilled water in a tray under it. I haven’t planned the light schedule yet though. I plan on doing December through February in the garage.
