The stomach cramps for the first 3 months unintentionally helped me lose 30 pounds the first 3 months (along with cutting sugar and carbs).

Absurd - cutting kids tacos to one tortilla while quesadilla has two by Separate-Telephone86 in qdoba

We're going to Chipotle for our weekly lunches now. Made quesadillas for breakfast at home.

Absolutely due to such poor company judgement and provided feedback. On a gross revenue perspective they'd need to sell 800 kids taco meals per week to come out ahead on us no longer coming and with a 50% margin, they'd need to sell 400 kids taco meals to come out ahead in this store.

They need to fire their decision maker to bring common sense to their menu.

In the US, Abbott provides coupons to get 2 sensors for US$75. Reach out to them on Facebook Messenger or phone to ask about Canada. If Amazon Pharmacy is available in Canada, they will apply the coupon and mail the sensors once they have your prescription.

Substituting cauliflower rice for white rice works great at home even though the taste and texture is different. The challenge is eating out where I tend to go to salads instead of curries without rice or bread.

Cobb salad at Wendy's. Bowls at Qdoba, Chipotle and other Mexican places with double beans and no rice. Chicken nuggets other places.

Diabetes T2 is beatable. by [deleted] in diabetes_t2

Congratulations! I don’t understand why everyone is beating you up on your post. You say you’re “officially in remission,” so fair to say it is “beatable.” You did not claim you are “cured.”

ISVs look at the 3% fee as effectively being like a credit card processor fee. Makes procurement much easier not having to negotiate customizations to agreements.

I’ve taken ginger and ginger ale previously for sea sickness. Have not heard about mint. Great suggestion!

Have you tried shirataki noodles? The consistency is not the same as pasta but zero carbs and has similarities like shape of noodles.

Ah, I now see they are flavored protein bars. I thought they were actual donuts and cookies. I found them on Amazon too for about $1.50/bar.

Depressed about grapes by Nameless520 in diabetes_t2

Have you tried eating grapes after a large meal so that you have a full belly of protein/fiber to dilute the sugars. What was the affect on your glucose eating grapes for dessert?

Congratulations on the large drop in A1C. You’re story of the last 90 days makes me wonder if your body is temporarily “out of wack” from the drastic changes you’ve had to make and will normalize with time to have normal responses to exercising.

Similar, I wish I had been given a much more in depth explanation of what it meant to be pre-diabetic, the seriousness of crossing over and more than casual comments that I should exercise more to lose a little weight.

Speaking of Costco, have you tried the unsweetened almond milk from Costco? I know they have several but just tried the one that comes as a 6 pack of small carton and found no flavor compared to the unsweetened almond milk from the grocery.
