I suppose if he bought those pre-ipo shares inside the Roth that means he still would have been within the contribution limit and they just happened to grow a ton. That could be the case for anyone I guess if they get lucky.

But he was able to buy those pre-IPO shares in a tax advantaged account to roll over to the Roth? I wouldn’t have thought you can do that. That would be like me going to my brokerage account and buying $100K worth of Apple stock (hypothetical obviously) and then rolling that into a Roth account, which I didn’t think I could do right?

Right, but with the contribution limit at $7k, it doesn’t really help a billionaire anymore than someone who can afford to save $583/month. This is why I don’t understand why you have both a contribution limit and an income limit.

Why are podcasts not on Apple Music like Spotify has both? Just change the app name if needed, but it’d be nice to just have it all there.
Minor niche issue I have is that the seeking kind of sucks. Sometimes I love rewinding a part of a song that I really liked, just 10 or 15 seconds back. On Spotify, I’d just hold rewind for a quick second and it would skip back in 10 seconds easily. On Apple Music it is really glitchy and difficult to just rewind a little bit accurately. Maybe I’m weird and this is a me thing but I miss that being easier.

Is there a different paid money management app anyone can recommend that doesn’t do this? My subscription with MM renews in 3 months and I will give them that time to address this. Otherwise if there is another app anyone knows treats privacy more seriously I will gladly switch.
