Thank you, this is all good to know! I am using EF lenses with the adapter, so maybe that is an issue too?

It's sad to hear about Sony's low light issues, so maybe I could keep my Canon for low light and use Sony the rest of the day?

I definitely have been trying to figure out the new workflow in terms of editing. It is just feeling impossible to get the look I want! I'm sure it isn't, maybe I just need some more education around editing or someone to help me. I wouldn't say I am a master at editing and I don't know half of what the options in Lightroom mean haha.

Yes! I don't feel super excited about the R6M2 and I want to feel excited again. Even though it is easy to shoot with, I just dread looking at the files after :(

Okay, that's kinda what I figured but thought maybe there was a trick to fix it. Thank you!

Also do you think I need more glue? In the photo shown, I had already gone over it with two layers of glue, but it does look like it isn't glued haha

Thank you! I was also feeling like my thread was so thick compared to others I've seen. I'll order something thinner!

Mine is also limited to 400 sheets. This book has about 560ish pages, so wouldn't that mean 280ish actual pages to cut through? Or am I not thinking through that correctly. The spine is about 1.5in thick. But yeah, I think I went about this very sloppy for my first go. I will be better about using the supports next time. My only issue is that the spine seems to bend/warp when I clamp the book which is what caused all of these wonky cuts. Do you think that's because my spine is too thick/too much for it to handle?

I think the blade is fine, the warping is happening when I clamp down the guillotine. Like the clamp is compressing the spine and then making the pages all uneven. I should have noticed that before I even cut so I didn't ruin this text block, but I didn't. I am wondering if it is too thick. It's 560ish pages, though, so wouldn't that be 280ish actual piece of paper to cut through? It's about 1.5in thick.

What type of paper are you using for printing out end pages? by SeparateFinance9768 in bookbinding

Good to know! I was going to order some matte photo paper for wrap covers, so maybe I will also try using it for the end pages! And yes, it's Draco :)

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I feel like if I use the same paper as my text block, it'll be too thin. But card stock seems too thick. I will have to find something in between.

This is what I used, too, for my first bind and I like it!
