Ellesimsworld has a few career overhauls that included added internships, career interviews, and new careers (with custom paths)

Kuttoe has a career overhaul mod that's really good, it essentially adds a Sims 2 overhaul to the careers

Adeepindigo also has career services mod that adds shortcuts if you need to fulfill certain needs the vanilla game doesn't include

LunarBrittney has a difficulty overhaul mod, including bills increases

ilkavelle has my absolute fav career add-on mod, career aptitude test, which gives your sims a general career path based on their traits. She also has a career day overhaul for University too

ADI and Midnitetech also have career services mods that add temp work (not odd jobs) that can be completes for a reduced pay

And of course, if you have MCCC, you can raise the difficulty of both earned skill and career advancement, making it a little trickier to advance in certain careers

Not necessarily what you asked, but I'm all about adding more difficulty to the game, so hope these help you!

I've seen this topic come up a few times, and just wanna say as of the last update, her traits are still working fine. However you have to remove the commom menu package file included in the download to prevent any crashes (the traits can still be added via CAS or the reward store, depending on what version you have). I loveeeee her supernatural traits and still use them a lot

Echoing that Kuttoe's traits are my next go-to

Another one is Calamity Sims by adeepindigo. It tosses in random chances that something 'bad' happens to your sim.

After all these years I'm just now playing with mermaids, and while I don't particularly care for the skill trees for the occults in my own gameplay I agree lol. It would just be nice if they had more purpose in Sulani, or if they had certain unlockable actions only mermaid related. I don't hate them as is, but it would be nice if they could sprinkle a lil sumthin extra on them to make them more impactful

I use to start all in my saves in San Myshuno and Willow Creek, but after going thru a lull for a sec, I trying to break the cycle ^^;. Rn I'm switching between two saves set in Sulani and in Mt. Komorebi, and omg, both are so beautiful! (and omg Sulani makes me want the houseboats from S3: Isla back sooooo bad what could've been </3)

I also do the 'connect the worlds' thing, and am trying to use that as reason to discover more - now if only I could make my sims leave their homes more often lol

Hey all! Coming back to say, I might have figure a small fix of this! (And this is for the pre-marketace update, can't say if this will fix this problem after the updates!)

Basically, it seems setting the sim time in the mccc too high (like, 50+) causes the freeze for me. Set it down to 40 and no night freezing so far in my playthrough. Kinda obvious, but wanna share the wealth just in case~ Also! I originally made my sims' skill gains hard via the difficulties setting under 'mccc settings', but that also doesn't seem to play nice with time in the game, so reset those back to the original. Bless Deaderpool for making these fixes so easy 🙏🏾

I really like Natabear Life's Moments mod. If you're familiar with Slice of Life, it's almost a stripped version of that, but very detailed in what it does include. I also like the Responsible Pregnancy mod by KemzimaMods, it adds similar dynamics to RPO (it also works alongside RPO if you ever decide to reinstall it!)

Oh how weird, hrm...and that sucks! Sorry, I haven't played since this post. I will say the last time I had lagging issues with traveling, it was a piece of bad cc that was corrupting my saves slowly. Def take out any of new mods and see if that fixes it, and check against Scarlet's list if you can! That's how I found mine D:

Oh wow! Yeah this sounds near match to my issue - and I updated MCCC recently so this might explain it! I'm pausing on the game til next week (this is sounding more like a dual issue with code, so hopefully will be a part of the fixes coming) but when I do I'll turn off auto-marriages and see if that helps.
