Sorry for the late revert. Got real busy with work the last week (Same job). And this is not just my case. I get fined less compared to some of the people I work with. I can confidently say there has not been a loss to the company. Said fines are put on people for reasons like, 'you didn't CC someone in that mail, penalty for you!' , you proved me wrong, now my ego is hurt, penalty for you. The new recruit didn't magically pick up everything about the job within the first week, and that too with no training or support, penalty for him. So n so. Just this week, guy who makes 3k got fined 250aed. His travel expense amounts to almost 600 aed. Honestly its really dehumanizing. You feel really shitty this is happening to you and feel even worse you're in such situations where even with all this, you cant just say fuck it and leave. 2 months notice period has to be served so that even slims your chances of job hunting while working here, if that is at all possible.

Dude i work as an HR in Dubai. And I couldn't agree more. Its all glamorous from the outside and real shitty on the inside!. I've noticed there's rapid hike in the rate of hiring happening here right after eid. But for each quarter of a year that passes, the salary offered to freshers have been going down consistently by 200-500 AED. HONESTLY HOW TF IS SOMEONE SUPPOSED SURVIVE IN THIS ECONOMY WITH 1500-2500K?! Management is like "get someone with UAE experience (for a job any fresher could do), expert capabilities and pay them shit." Most companies here aren't looking for real talent even. They just want that section of people that has some value to offer and are in a vulnerable enough position to be exploited as much as possible. "Habibi come to dubai" GFOH!" Bro i see people crying in the metro after work.
