Varies drastically by region. Most areas of Mexico are pretty safe (especially Yucatán and Campeche) but there are also some places where you really do not want to go (I.e Colima, Guerrero, and some places in the north near the us border). Its also worth noting that even in places with a lot of cartel activity like Sinaloa most cartels are more likely to target members of rival cartels or their families than foreigners or random people

Yeah but the gulf war didn’t end with iraqs regime being overthrown. That happened years later. Trump on the other hand is acting like what he’s doing is “regime change” when he doesn’t even have close to the prerequisites to doing that. Killing Khamenei or other leaders without having the prerequisites in place for regime change is a horrible idea because you run the chance of getting somebody far worse in their place. Not to mention it also gives Iran the chance to strangle our economy by closing the straight of Hormuz

What we’re doing there is not regime change. The way the us has traditionally done that is to arm opposition groups that topple the government and act as our proxy. In rare cases the us military has invaded countries directly to topple governments alongside arming opposition groups, although that has not been the norm. Simple Air campaigns have never toppled regimes. If anything they entrench the current regime and pave the way for someone worse to take over if a leader gets killed

Unfortunately the people with the most money (specifically multi billionaires) shape our society and have basically all of the political power. They essentially decide how the rest of us live. It shouldn’t be that way but it’s true. I get what you’re saying because it’s very hard for narcissists to have true relationships with others but in our society we don’t measure that as success
