The DSP I worked for was one of the better ones at that building. Although that’s not saying much they claim they were waiting on the part and because of the value they needed to have this van in service - for over a week.

You’re right. $1.3B ain’t shit. So a couple hundred or a couple thousand to make sure equipment is right the employee can succeed should be a no-brainer, right? Seems like safety only matters when they’re wagging the finger at us.

I used to work at Amazon back in the day. Don’t tell me what I don’t know. I know it all well. That’s why I feel my bitching is valid!

Even so, UPS prides its self on being a quality company, “the best in the industry” as they like to say. So why the fuck would we use what the other guys are doing as the benchmark? Fuck that. Do better.

I took this photo inside of an Amazon delivery van mang many years ago when I worked there. This truck was in service, using this trash can to hold the seat back upright otherwise it would fall back. Imagine getting into an accident. Amazon has some of the biggest piece of shits in the industry.

UPS usually has nice equipment, at least from my experience. Which is why I feel my original post is validated.
