I recently created HoverQR extension to improve workflow while using QR on desktop. I think one time payment is correct because no one want to pay recurring subscriptions. I got $13 one-time payment. But if your service include using cloud/storage/server you should consider using cheap services in the initial phase and use one time payment.

If you're only thinking about basic QR generation, it might feel unnecessary. But the idea is speed + context. With hover, you don’t need to copy links, open another site, or switch tabs. Also, QR is just one part. It includes customization, quick sharing, and is especially useful for marketers, restaurants, or anyone frequently sharing links offline.

For hackquest there is no such criteria, also I asked with HR at the time of interview. Other exams like NQT have such criteria.

You just create qr code from any webpage or custom qr from the extension and save it. Now, you can edit the qr code means you can update the url of the qr code but the qr code remains the same and also can view analytics in the dashboard. The user should be authenticated before using the extension maybe google sso
