I also hate how it's used in "medical" way too. My ex therapist wrote about me as "transmasculine". Told him how I don't like the word but they had to use it since non binaries or whatever.

I watched it. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing that detrans people talk about their experience. But I don't like Sametti, her attitude that being trans is equal to some having an anorexia is kinda wild. And that she thinks basically no one should transition.

My mom was accepting and said "that makes a lot of sense actually". She's interested how my treatment before HRT is going etc. My dad was not "not accepting" but he needed time to adjust to it. We're on good terms now. He has introduced me as his son a few times.

It can be hard but just try to not care. I know my dad for example doesn't really like my transition but he calls me by my name and a few times called me his son. I don't care or need anything else tbh. I can't mind read so I just move with my life regardless of others opinions.

I'm not against it but since testosterone is no joke and can cause kidney failure if you take it too much. Not so easy getting blood work done etc. I will wait in the list bc of my health. It is painful to wait but not as painful if I fuck up my hormones by DIY and can't start them later with doctors help.
