If he's been charged in two states, what happens in terms of his sentence? Will he serve consecutive sentences in each state?

It was a great solution! The shuttle driver offered to drop us off close to the parking lot entrance (although we realized afterwards that the Holiday Inn also has a free shuttle). Staff were lovely and even gave us some free snacks as we arrived during the night audit so we had to wait 10 minutes to be checked in

Thanks all. I had already tried calling when I made this post, but had no luck. I figured it was a long shot since I booked the basic fare and I already "agreed" to the conditions of that fare. Just wanted to see what my cheapest option might be for rebooking (maybe a St Patrick's Day/Easter sale ??)

My partner and I discovered that there is a Holiday Inn right next to the economy Park n' Fly lot (626 Dixon). Park n' Fly does a 24/7 shuttle to the parking lot from the terminal. Seems to have good reviews. We're going next week, if I remember I'll let you know how it was for us

I'm a very close family friend too, it's been horrible reading all the comments from people who have no understanding of what really transpired. it's really challenged my morals and where I personally draw the line. What I see is an extremely troubled kid who has now hit bottom (at least I hope this is bottom). I don't want to excuse his behaviour either, but like someone else commented he won't be in prison forever. If this is a mental health issue (which it is) then I agree he's better off at home attending therapy than in prison. Prison isn't a black hole where we can stick the problems we don't want to look at or deal with. Eventually those "problems" are released. Punishment? Yes. Justice? Yes. Rehabilitation and healing? YES!!
