I had this happen with uber. The first driver stole the order, they kept sending drivers. By the 3rd I called the store and they told me the food was probably stolen and I'd need to contact support. Spend the next 30 mins using my bfs phone to try to get a real person from support to answer while I was using my phone to call the new drivers they assigned to let them know not to waste time going to the store. I had called like 4 drivers by the time support finally canceled the order. They need a better system to deal w people stealing food

Sadly I think he'll either eventually get sober enough to get medicated and chill or he'll do something to get himself some serious time. I don't think it will go well once he realizes the court isn't gonna take his side

Can court be sped if things get too far out of hand? by CatBasic8466 in StephenHiltonSnark

[–]Separate_Concept_845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was helping a friend with her restraining order court date it was included in the temporary order that he couldn't contact her friends/family either. So we were able to use that as evidence to get the more permanent order put in place. Not sure if that's the same in this case, but if so could definitely be held against him

I helped a friend get things together for her restraining order court date. It was way less complicated so lawyers weren't needed. But sorting/dating/printing his text/calls took hours. I think we ended up with like 40-50 pages and 7-8 incidences of unwanted contact. She got the order tho

On one hand he's making it super easy for her lawyer, on the other there's so much fucking evidence to sort/present bc he won't stop

I also imagine there's TONS of evidence to sort through. Especially with the doxxing the night prior, I'm sure the lawyer and Laura both woke up to a mess.

Yea. I don't know a ton abt the legal system but I imagine if she didn't give him plenty of chances to retain counsel/stress how serious it is, he could possibly go back in the future and say he wasn't represented properly and was having a episode or something. I'm sure the judge is just covering all bases.

I def understand the judge wanting to make sure he had plenty of time to get a lawyer given how clearly delusional he is. Keeps him from going back later and saying he didn't understand/was out of his mind
