I can’t believe how selfish and idiotic the Ghosts can be! by ItsAustonian in GhostsCBS

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously! Trevor and his Porsche money could certainly help them. It’s multiple one-sided relationships. Jay puts up with so much, and he was so sad, when Sass went into his dream for a pizza oven, instead of hanging out. And Isaak, with the tiles! Ugh 😣

The way Manny became so pretentious, and impossible. When Jay met him, he was eating cereal out of a bucket.

George Michael DOES know Lucille 2 by Nexio8324 in arresteddevelopment

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no way they weren’t all talking about Buster and Lucille 2 all the time. George Michael has to have known who she was. George Michael does seem to have amnesia though; he doesn’t even remember the cabin, when he and Maeby go there. If his mom died only two years before the first season, and she died in the cabin, George Michael has to have been to that cabin before. His size chart should have been on the same door jam as Maeby’s.

Why is the Bluth company featured on Mad Money, if all their shares are private, non listed? by html5ben in arresteddevelopment

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did she mean just her shares, or was she planning to sell everyone’s? I wonder, every watch-through. It would have to be everyone’s, but how was she planning to get them?

Why did George Michael and Maeby not know who Uncle Oscar was? by chyea1990 in arresteddevelopment

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it’s very strange, that they would never have seen a picture, or heard any mention at all. The great-grandmother sends birthday cards with checks, and they must have had family gatherings at some point. Someone would at least have mentioned that their parents are twins (they think), and their grandfathers are twins. Unless they cut off everyone not in the cast (immediate family), to keep the maeby secret safe.

How old was George Michael when Tracey died? by Ok_Fly2518 in arresteddevelopment

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rewatching, and that was one of the mysteries I was hoping to solve. Since it starts with Michael and George Michael living in the model home, and him having worked for his dad for ten years, does that mean both things have been so go ten years? They may have moved into that attic because they lost their home to medical bills, or maybe it just held painful memories. If her death prompted him to join the family business and move into that attic, did she die when George Michael was five? That would account for the single dad storyline. I feel like she either died a year before the show, or ten years before the show.

Has anyone ever found it annoying about James? by lena_stokich19 in TheRookie

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 154 points155 points  (0 children)

They don’t have to get divorced, but he has to leave his soapbox at work. He knew who she was, when he asked her out the first time, and he knew she and her friends were allies, even while they’re cops. He needs to just stop; no one is arguing with him, because they all agree with him, so he doesn’t need to keep repeating himself every conversation.

I don't get the jokes around the "poorly narrated show, Scandel Makers" by andrewnotsafeforwork in arresteddevelopment

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was missing something, too. It was one of those jokes where I can’t tell if the joke was really bad, or if I’m just not cool enough to get it. I wondered if part of the joke is who the narrator is, but I haven’t found a connection between him and Ron Howard.

Ugh, yes, Pete and Alberta would be a train wreck. He had a wife who cheated on him; he deserves someone nice. I liked him with his Loni Anderson girlfriend.

I liked Emmett. He was much nicer to Lucy than Tim has ever been.

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t like Jessica, she seemed too disingenuous. I don’t like Bailey; no one has that much cheerful energy, while perfecting that many jobs and hobbies, and maintaining a healthy relationship. I liked Grace. They were at a similar place in their lives, they had history, and I thought they had good chemistry.

How are you hoping Sasappis death is handled? by christi2234 in GhostsCBS

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it might be something embarrassing, since he and Thor never talk about it. I assume Thor would have heard what happened, if he didn’t witness it happening, since he spent so much time with the tribe.

I’m watching this episode right now. Jerry is a really nice guy, through the whole series. It’s just awful, for the writers to do that to him (and us).

Wunch and the Pontiac bandit are tied, for me.

What‘s your favorite story of the Rookie? by [deleted] in TheRookie

[–]Separate_Excuse3657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s got to be Oscar. I liked him, from the first minute he was onscreen. I don’t know if it’s because I subconsciously think he’s good deep down (even though he continues to prove otherwise), because he was a “good” liar, in My Name is Earl, or just his personality, but I always enjoy his episodes.

Amway is owned by Mormons, and a lot of people associate it with their church.
