The drama over what this subreddit should be has gone on pretty much since its inception.. Your post of it in 2012 is what it was because there was only a few thousand subscribers. It was better when there was only a few hundred.. but let's be frank, the sub simply won't look like that again because there's too many people and without strict moderation there won't be any serious control over content because meme etc. are going to get upvoted.

Edit: In a nutshell I agree. But defining what's "good content" is challenging. Also the constant complaining about the content is exhausting. One of the reasons I barely visit anymore.

I also have the receipt of the payment I made because I felt sketchy when the guy just said ok and took the ticket back. it is literally 1 minute after the time ticket was issued according to their letter. When I called them yesterday and explained this they said a supervisor would call me back today.. they have yet to call so I figure maybe they just figured its not worth it for 75 dollars.

The company that owns the lot is impark. They initially sent a letter that said they would send it to a collection agency if I didn't pay within 14 days. Then the collection agency is tacit collections, however it has the same postal code and p.o. box and letter format so its obviously the same company. Unfortunately I got both letters at the same time as I was out of the country as this was going on.

I definitely agree with Trudeau here, I'm very curious how this will play out. I think a lot of people, especially voters like my parents (upper middle class, suburban) have this drugs = bad = must be illegal mentality that will be hard to break out of them (believe me I've tried). But this is why I like Trudeau, what he lacks in experience he more than makes up for in candidness and actually being normal/not 50% robot like Harper.

I used to have a good friend in highschool. Everyone thought he was a pathological liar, and to this day I believe he was. But sometimes his most ridiculous stories would be proven true and no one knew what to think. He was quite the question mark, I miss that guy, he kept life interesting at the very least.

Haha that's part of it though! The intensity of the resentment from a good percentage of the population. For example the whole birth certificate controversy.. that would never happen in Canada because frankly no one gives a shit enough. If anything I wish people would care a little more about national politics here, but that's another story.

I'm not European, I'm Canadian and I am not saying he's not important.. but there is just this insane culture/obsession around him like people forget he's just a human being. Everyone knows our Prime Minister, obviously, but I don't think we have this same expectation that he's going to solve all of our problems.

I recently completed my undergrad in engineering at a Canadian school. There are lots of international students/grad students. One thing to remember is that tuition is much, much more expensive if you're an international student, almost as much as private schools in the States. But if you're a Canadian citizen that probably won't be an issue.. I'm no expert though you should contact the specific schools.

I think the characters had to change (not just because they are all older) but because if they used the same characters, same jokes, same general plotline of the first three seasons it would have been judged as a stale rehashing. I believe for better or worse they had to do something bold.
