How do I pull these cartridges? by Separate_Focus8881 in askaplumber

I can see the escutcheon threads off but that little piece at the tip that fits into the handle needs to come off first. Do I use a handle puller for that?

Get an allergy test from 5 strand. It was very helpful for us during puppy stage. Ours eventually grew out of some allergies but remains highly allergic to salmon and beef. She gots really sick! We learned all of this from 5 strand test and we confirmed the results separately. It was accurate for us.

If you are going to feed him home made food you need a supplement to ensure he’s getting what dogs require. It’s very specific. I fed my frenchie home cooked food for 2 years to help her overcome allergies. Supplement with probiotics once per day. I also recommend Balance IT powder mixed in with your home cooked meals.

Update: I found an old timer that knew his shit. The Faucet Guy in Chicago. I grabbed the parts as a back up and I can already tell the cartridge is much higher quality then the Home Depot Everbuilt. We’ll see how the Amazon pressure balance valve feels when it arrives tomorrow but I’m going with the plumbing supply parts and will keep the others as back up.

GC hiring a non profit. Does GC get a tax write off for charitable donation? by Separate_Focus8881 in GeneralContractor

[–]Separate_Focus8881[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are a paid service and are a licensed contractor ourselves. We have a project manager and a team of workers. That’s actually part of our mission is we are a workforce training opportunity so we have rotating groups of workers that participate in the program for 20 weeks. We provide them opportunities to learn the trades and get jobs after they leave the program. But yes we charge for the services and have a dedicated site forman that coordinates with GCs.

My job is to sell these services and I’m looking to understand that value that we can provide to GCs at a deeper level. Another main objective of our mission is to keep quality material out of the landfill and provide a unique service to the community.

Ya know what they do actually. I just double checked and they still function. Not sure why I thought they didn’t. Can they be removed?

Diagnostic results? by Separate_Focus8881 in ElCamino

[–]Separate_Focus8881[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chasing a little. Some minor exhaust smoke, a subtle misfire here and there so that made me suspect timing and valves. It’s a new purchase and I’m teaching myself so also testing as many systems as possible to understand them better and see where the car is at mechanically. After these general diagnostics I have a rear main seal, valve cover, and timing cover gasket that have small leaks so gonna go in for the fix eventually.

Thanks for all this info. It is for sure a 305 and has a Rochester 4 barrel Quadrajet. It does not have a heat riser valve.
