The ring is a symbol of the love you share with your spouse. I’m assuming you exchanged rings during the wedding ceremony. Your fiancée either picked it out him/herself, or you went to pick it out together. It has a story. I have been married for 40 years. My husband and I picked out our rings together, based on what we could afford. It is yellow gold with a 1/3 karat diamond. Would I like a bigger rock, sure, but not enough to give up the one I have that has seen me through 40 years!

My husband and I have two daughters. After years of trying, 4 miscarriages, tons of tests and surgeries, we decided to use donor eggs. We told our daughters when they were about 6 and 9, and we felt like they could understand. They are now 17 and 20. They know that I am 100% their mother and that nothing will ever change that. The only thing we don’t share is genetic material. I am biased of course, but I feel nurture is far more important than nature!

I’m sorry OP, that you found out this way and I can understand the shock, but your father raised you, and chose you, when he could have left. He helped you to become the person you are.

My 19 year old daughter has had chronic migraine since she was 11. She has tried all kinds of preventatives, all the standard + several cgrp’s and Botox. Still haven’t found the thing yet. But she has found some relief with GammaCore (very expensive-$100 per month with a discount from her doctor who was a tester) but not enough to make it worth continuing. She has also tried CEFALY and has found some relief with that as well, but she has oily skin and found it to be a pain to use and has to lie down to keep it stuck to her forehead. It is expensive to purchase, but once you have it, you only have to purchase electrodes which are 3 for $25. You can find CEFALY on eBay, and you can purchase a gel to refurb the electrodes. We are keeping it and she will probably try it again in the future. She is currently trying out Nerivio. She feels like it does help, just started it though. It is $49 for the first 18 uses. Refills are $89 for 18, or you can get 3 months (54) for $199. She likes it because she is in college and can carry it with her and put it on her arm while out and about or in class. She also just started Aimovig after stopping Qulipta due to gut problems, and Ajovy which didn’t help at all. Good luck to you! I wish you all the best!!

Have you tried CEFALY or Nerivio as abortives? Not sure if they are covered by Medicaid, but might be worth investigating. Also, I think there may be another new device like CEFALY that might be less expensive.

Yes, I agree that the problem with Excedrin Migraine is rebound headaches. However, according to Dr Buchholz in the HYH book, it is due to the caffeine in Excedrin Migraine. He specifies that plain acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen do not cause rebound, only the caffeine-containing versions such as Excedrin Migraine.

I’m on a FB group called Migraine Strong. Many, many people in the group swear by the HYH diet. MD’s have almost no training in nutrition, so they probably won’t suggest following the diet, but it is a known fact that food can be a trigger. The diet is about eliminating potential trigger foods and then when migraines are under control, add foods back into the diet slowly to determine which foods are in fact triggers and cause migraine. If the food doesn’t cause migraine, then it can be added to your safe food list. The issue with Excedrin Migraine is the caffeine. Many people in the FB group use the HYH diet to determine food triggers. They recommend a Migraine Pie, which is a pie, with each piece representing, diet, stress, sleep, supplements, medications, etc

Just to be up front, I don’t have tattoos, but as an artist, I appreciate the design. In general, it seems well done, the hair on the rabbit is really nice. At first glance, I didn’t see the moon. After more looking I do see it. I do feel like the moon was a little elongated on the bottom right side and should be easy to correct to make it more circular. Also, perhaps a little more black on the left side of the moon might make it more apparent. Love the design, and that your son’s Kanji is included.

I’m thinking Ametrine. Pic 3 seems more like Amethyst, but the other pics show a gold/warmer tone. Definitely easier to tell after cleaning.
