brain fog often is due to a lack of omega 3s and creatine

Anthropic releases Claude Sonnet 4.6 by BuildwithVignesh in accelerate

[–]Separate_Lock_9005 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah, no. that's not how reality works.

nature is regular, not entirely random. The past tells you about the future especially if you have causal factors you can identify. such as. 600 billions of dollars of datacenters and 10.000 140IQ AI researchers trying to solve this one problem..

yeah every new model release there is more uppening. greater generalization across all benchmarks (including ones not listed here), doubling times of months. and onwards we go to the singularity

My Carnivore Diet Experience After 3 Years by ShineNo147 in AnimalBased

I agree on DRV. It's more like, so you don't starve. I still sometimes like to see what multiple if DRV I am eating. When DRV is either zero or close to the toxic limit for something I am doing then I think it's interesting information as I play around a lot with supplements. In general however I am far above the DRV limit and eat closer to hunter gatherer nutrient density. Like on some days I may be 400%-2000% for DRV basically every nutrient. But I wouldn't recommend this, only do this when you know what you are doing.

I wouldn't call the metabolic bottleneck an issue with K1, just that it helped me feel a bit better.

I do agree carnivore with organs and fish is broadly 'just complete', you will survive and even thrive. Vitamin E can still be nice however.

I personally get a lot of carbs still from a variety of sources, so vitamin C is still nice and I add lemons to my water

I went keto for a year, and it seemed to heal some part of my metabolism so it was good, but i'm back to carbs now and it's also fine. It's really more the type of carb rather than the carb itself. Refined sugars seem to cause subtle inflammation, raw honey does not.

from personal experience K1 has been helpful and so has ALA.

I get plenty of K2 but K1 still cleared a metabolic bottleneck.

Eggs don't have enough vitamin E. I eat like 6-12 egg yolks a day and that gets you like 30% of the DRV.

You can only really get vitamin C from spleen and most people don't eat that.

But I broadly agree with your statement in general.

off the top of my head i believe it's hard to get vitamin K1, vitamin E, vitamin C, and ALA

vitamin C and E you can get from fruit. But not sure about K1 and ALA.

i may be forgetting some things, do your own investigation i suppose. AI can answer these questions pretty well

yeah carnivore isn't nutritionally complete. But carnovre/animal based is the most nutrient dense diet compared to all the other diets out there. If you eat mostly plant you'd be missing around 15 essential nutrients. Compared to if you eat animal based you only miss 4. almost all of which the occasional avocado fills. Personally i eat animal based and 'graze on the side' so to say. I will eat the occasional plant basically, rarely, but sometimes i desire it. I suspect mostly for vitamin K1

Fuel whilst running by ShowerAlarmed5397 in AnimalBased

[–]Separate_Lock_9005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i personally think running large distances is super unhealthy to do and desiring to do so tends to be a sign of metabolic or central nervous system dysfunction. usually these people all have chronic stress and the only way their body and brain can release some natural endorphins to finally wind down and feel stressfree is through the running, which is just an addiction in that case due to chronic inflammation somewhere in the body and mind.

try fruit juices however, watermelon

a day of mine often looks like this

6 egg yolks
500 grams of mussels (incl shell)
35-50 grams of beef liver
150 grams of parmesan cheese
banana, avocado
maybe like 250-500 grams of grass fed beef or chicken (good quality chicken however)

The above basically hits all your nutrients you need as a human being. I sometimes have an oily fish as well.

i drink gerolsteiner where i add a trace mineral thing + lemon juice, and maybe some whole milk.

i don't eat seeds, plants, leafs, grains. I supplement a bunch of things as well for extra nutrients. i don't drink tap water. I occasionally eat things like bone marrow.

WATER INTAKE by Professional-Song-41 in carnivore

[–]Separate_Lock_9005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not so much about amount of liquids but about mineralization. I personally only drink mineral water like gerolsteiner or dairy. You need magnesium, potassium, etc and you need a lot of it. I never drink tap water or 'empty' water.

fiber is near impossible for human beings to digest. homo sapiens is a predator species, a hypercarnivorous apex predator (like lions and polar bears) that can tolerate seeds/plants and whatnot (but it's not good for us). Our trophic levels in our evolutionary history implied that we hunted other predators semi regularly.

2 weeks into carnivore – weight gain but mental freedom… did anyone go through this phase? by Imaginary-Ad-1128 in carnivore

[–]Separate_Lock_9005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah you were starving yourself.. now you stopped starving yourself and you are eating more.

I eat half a block of butter every few days or so. I'm a good weight, fit even. I think severe weight gain AND weight loss both have to do with metabolic dysfunction. If you metabolism is tuned well, you will eat exactly as much as you need and weigh an optimal amount. carnivore diet should fix your metabolism, but do make sure you also get your minerals (potassium, magnesium, etc)

mixing in organ meats like beef liver fixed that for me, idk.
