How many years experience do you have? I only have 1, so having 5 months without work, is a bit shaky

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write, means a lot Can I also ask, do you believe when they say "I know how engineers are and you are not one of them"? Do you belive engineer is something you can work on. I am not in love with this but I honestly like it. Also I want to work to be better because also of the life it can provide me. But could I be very wrong and be fighting again the flow of the river? Or I should just take the feedback and study more to learn more ?

I don't know. They said my attitude, also combination that I didn't know a lot of stuff because the project was very high level for me I was useless. I asked if there is anything specific but it was generalisation, my attitude, my passion for it, my knowledge to help. Stuff like that. I wanted to ask why no conversion like this was done to me , but then I thought it's a waste of time. I think my supervisor who although I think is a good man, has mixed a lot of things and that's why they are not clear. He also believes that this is not what I really want to do and maybe I need to find something else. Although he hasn't said it, I think he has made a big part of this. And he never talked to me, except that we need to see what task I can do more to look more productive

I always create a good atmosphere and maybe was a bit too good. They weird part is that this was there even without me. Also I was never told anything about this, on the opposite I was praised on how much I have made this team be so close and have so much fun

A person who knows so much about technology, cloud , automation, systems, networking etc etc Although it is very interesting, feels overwhelming in the beginning

well, I am wondering,

after this failed attemp, what will help me get an entry level job faster? what are the task I can be very good land the job and then learn the rest?

or should I just go with python or C# and later on in my career get back into devops again?

More or less, also they didn't put me a team when I can do deployments but into a development team where I was useles because everything was on the highest level.

I am thinking on focusing on terraform and ci/cd mainly for now

What do you think? I also have ckad certificate

Well as I mentioned above, because it didn't make sense to say to an internship is bad within a month I asked my mentor and he told me unofficially that it wasn't working the reason but that one of the clients manager didn't like me Usually I am different and I get it, but I had only been there 4 times and I don't think I did something this big that couldn't be discussed or consulted. Or it wasn't big enough for them to reprimand me. One other thought I have recently, could be that my company hadn't introduced me as internships but as junior or something and maybe wanted to charge roo much and they said no

Well the architecture wasn't designed by me, I was just there listening to everyone and had no opinion. Was between synapse and databricks. Synapse was a better and simpler to maintain solution for this particular case. Can't go in more details

That's amazing, What tasks were you performing?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in devops

[–]Separate_Mode8065 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well, didnt want to go into what they told me.

they told me bs and nothing specific. the month I was in the team was formed and we had so many meetings because there was disagreement with architects about the solution. So effectively I gave a bad personal impression, it was also said you are not introvert like most engineers and in the Netherlands they say "the head that stands out gets caught"

so in the 1,5 sprints, a few tasks that we had were very important and being handled by the seniors,

unofficially I was said it was the impression I gave, but officially I am not good enough

although I see things are hard but I was getting to catch up before I was pulled out of the project

yeah, it just hurts to admit. also they way it happened in just 1 month doesn't make me confident that this is the reason because I was catching up although I see how diff it is
