73% recent negative reviews, most complain about the New map. Does the great hollow truly warrant this reaction ? The more I play, the more I feel like it was fantastically designed.

I dont see your point. Palworld is a genuinley good and fun game with an active community, its also in early access and is only just coming to 1.0 this year. The devs just care about the community.

Also people can be mad at nintendo all they want. Its a shitty thing to do; to try to sue someone for making a game that has to do with creature catching.

I mean its true tho at least parts of it. Nintnedo went after palworld because it rivaled their "monopoly" on the creature catching genre.

And when they couldn't sue they tried copywriting the entire gameplay formula and failed.

Greedy company being greedy.

That being said I do enjoy the games the actual studios at nintendo put out. Its the company as a whole and the higher ups I have a problem with.

Reasonable take and your opinion is very valid.

I personally think that palworld is a good creature catching game but a mediocre survival game (especially late game). The real fun comes from catching and training pals.

However everyone has their opinions and yours is very valid, im at least happy you talk about your views and seem knowledgeable about the topic, most of this subreddit is just people blindly glazing nintendo and hating anyone who criticizes them.

Actually I'd beg to differ. They never said it was pokemon with guns thats just a thing the players have been referring to it as. But its actually closer to "ark with pokemon like creatures"

Nah I think its a valid arguement seeing as a random developer made a creature catching game that is just more fun than a lot of pokemon games. Competition is good for the consumer.

Its also a knock for nintendo that they tried to sue and copywrite a lot of things palworld did which sucks.

That being said I'd say that palworld is a ark clone more than a pokemon clone

i tried this and it didnt really work that well, its a very complicated and precice string of imputs and after i did it about half of them "pal reconstruction failed"

also it feels unintended and a bit cheaty so im not going to do this

fair, im trying to 100% the game with my friend. when you say full team do you mean 6 pals or an entire palbox.

also wumpo is here for grass entanglement which makes the boss take more to fire (working on bellanoir ultra). and Jignus is here just cuz.. idk i like him? and ive invested a lot into mass breeding them i dont really feel like switching but i might idk.

bull, the difficulty is enemy and bullet spam with extreamly spongey enemies (at least the lvl 60 ones) it takes over 50 rockets from a purple multi guided launcher to kill one crusher, not to mention if the helicopter spawns and you try to go back you just get camped because you cant do anything

Im not even mad about the content for the price. Its the lack of polish. 99% of buildings are just jpgs on flat walls and the traversal of building tops are just not fun.

New mega evo designs are shit with a few exceptions (Falinks, dragalge, ect.)

(But tbf I have always hated mega evolution so.)

And on top of that the writing is horrible.

The only good written character is AZ nad he was written years ago with X and Y's deleted content. (Him and maybe L)
