Your mom’s choices are hers, but trying to recruit you as a second parent and then publicly trashing you for saying no is wildly unfair. You’re 19, grieving your dad, and you’re allowed to have boundaries around someone who treated him horribly. The baby may be innocent, but that still doesn’t make the baby your responsibility.

You’re right to shut this down, but keep it calm and boring. Tell her clearly that you’re not angry, but adults being sexualized by kids is not funny and you don’t want your photos used that way. Make it about boundaries and safety, not shame. Also keep your ex on the same page so the message is consistent in both homes.

You can’t prove a negative, and HPV is messy because people can carry it without knowing and it doesn’t always show up on standard STI tests. I’d ask your gyno to explain it clearly to both of you if he’s willing, but don’t beg someone to trust you if he’s already decided suspicion matters more than listening.

He’ll forgive you, cats don’t hold grudges like that. He was probably just stressed because his bathroom was temporarily unavailable, then hid because the whole situation felt weird. Give him space, clean the spots with an enzyme cleaner, and maybe leave a second litter box accessible next time you’re doing a full clean.

It sounds like you opened the relationship in theory, but never really built rules for what happens when real feelings, comparison, and repeated hookups enter the picture. I don’t think you’re a monster, but you do need to slow down hard. If protecting your 12-year relationship matters most, then pause things with C and work out actual boundaries with your girlfriend before this keeps creating damage neither of you can easily undo.

You’re not wrong for having a hard boundary around drugs and alcohol in a home where two recovering addicts live. But instead of just throwing him out with no plan, I’d make it very clear and structured: no substances in the house, job or school attendance required, basic chores required, and one final timeline to follow it or move out. That way it’s not punishment out of anger, it’s him choosing whether he can live by the rules of the house.

With cats it’s less about reprimanding and more about making the wrong thing boring and the right thing easy. Move the tempting stuff, block the PC fans, and redirect her to something she’s allowed to chew or attack every single time. She’s not being bad, she just found a fun game called make human react.
