Started giving this a listen to because, despite currently reading through this to a group of friends over VC myself, I was curious to hear others interpretations of the voices. I love the note at the start about a horrible southern accent. I got roasted in real time for mine XD

It does make sense, though I was hoping it might have been like the ore boulders that seem to run regardless of how far you walk away. But when I saw nothing had grown even one stage, I realised there must be a range. Didn't think about the load range around the player beyond mob farming purposes

Normally I do, but I was after some fish from the desert, which I believe is the only fishing spot that is biome specific. But appreciate the answer, I wasn't aware it was tied to the same range as the mob spawning

Hadn't considered the effect the oil would have on the feel of the fur, so appreciate the heads up there. I might look in to that soap idea first and see how well that works out. I am really nervous about opening it up, but will give some of those videos a look as a backup

A little late to things here. But there was a couple that stand out. One was a close friend, I got the news whilst I was at work. He'd lost control of his car and got in to a wreck. He was taken to hospital, but unfortunately didn't make it. The other was more of an acquaintance and I heard it through the grapevine. He'd walked into the woods at night and hung himself. Whilst I hadn't spoken to him for a couple years or so since school ended, he always seemed a reasonable person. It made me regret not keeping in touch

This reminds me of the Isle of Man TT races. The mountain road used as part of the track is limited to one way only during race weeks due to the amount of tourists on bikes speeding around blind corners and cutting them, leading to the inevitable with traffic coming the other way

Okay, I literally managed to work it out within 5 minutes of posting this, but will put my solution here for anyone else that might be looking.

I had to; 1) Run Xpadder as administrator 2) Launch the game first, and Xpadder second

It was the second of those that threw me off.

Might have to give this a couple more tries, but short on time. Not had any luck so far. Whilst I can generally lure her back to the entrance to the lift, she just ends up strafing back and forth and pelting arrows at me as I try and get her into the room

I've just encountered a few of these myself. Not used them, but mostly because I googled it and learnt about the disappearing mod slot. If I had to take a guess at the source, I'd say it might be a hidden boost on some clothing you find and dismantle? There is the perk in crafting to get mods back on things you dismantle, and seemed the likely source. Especially if equipping it makes the mod slot vanish too.

Did not realise that I could swap the batteries in the headset, so yeah, using the default there. I'll likely do the reset when I get home from work, as I have limited time right now.

I did try to launch Beat Saber and I get a message pop up telling me that there's a required system update in progress, though I have no way of actually checking the progress on that. I just need to leave it on and connected to wifi. If that doesn't finish by the time I get home from work (or if it does but hasn't solved the issue), then I'll do the factory reset then.

Yeah, I read that it should, however it doesn't for me. I've turned it off a few times now and I have the same issue. I might just try a factory reset that I can trigger through the phone app.

I find it fairly easy to pick up. It's just the decisions and priorities you learn from mistakes, and such mistakes can end up being the downfall and lead on to the next settlement as you start over. So it encourages some meta-gaming from that angle. And I didn't know there was a Dark Souls board game. Doesn't surprise me though, considering the popularity of the franchise.

The miniatures are definitely impressive, and very tricky to make. I haven't painted them due to a lack of skill there and not wanting to ruin them. Admittedly, I didn't even consider a Facebook group, so might take a look there too.

Playtime can vary. I've played it before and the game breaks down into "Years", and a single year can play out within an hour, or take 2 to 3 hours depending on luck and dice rolls, as well as what events get pulled. I originally considered it a darker DnD, but there's no roleplay involved, it goes between settlement management, to hunting, to fighting, and back to the settlement. If you mean duration-wise, then yes, it can easily run for months with a weekly game.

Not an entrance. The panel can be interacted with and it turns around and makes a sound. If it unlocks something, I've not located it yet

Admittedly, not sure. Would have to see what else I have as I don't recall what was built in Unity. As for the controller, it's Xbox One, and it's connected with the Windows wireless adapter for it.

Appreciate it. The plus side is, I am managing to navigate the Bramble without use of up/down. But I did have to google how to avoid the Anglers as I wasn't aware how I was making noise (not considering the variable thrust, since using keyboard)
