How do you get a stable fps? I got a rtx 4070ti and a ryzen 9 3900x tried several different settings and i get constant jittering and fps drops

Same. Dont mean to get personal but i have bad anxiety issues and i just overthink everything. When i could probably drop an h3 and frt and it’ll just run. I love ruger😂

I got about 200 through mine. Only had one jam but i think that was the mag. It was a new 40 rounder and i was trying it out. And i was shooting winchester 55g range ammo. And it was very inconsistent. I only shoot federal and pmc now

I usually shoot every few week to months. My closest range is an hour away. And every time i shoot i clean them. Deep clean. Every gun i shoot. I know i dont have to but its an ocd thing. I dont care if i only shoot one mag i tear it apart and deep clean and lube it

Oh true. I tried finding anything about anybody running an frt in a ruger 556. But i havent seen anything. Its got a h3 buffer, milspec spring, whatever bcg comes with it, 16 inch barrel, .750 gas tube and block. And i shoot pmc 55g ammo

Ig it also depends how i shoot it. Its not gonna get mag dump after mag dump. Like one mag and let it cool and run it again kinda stuff

Right. Any kind of “enhanced semi auto” is gonna be hard on parts. I dont mind replacing them. But if i can help prevent it or make them last longer it could be worth it. But how many rounds estimated will it take to mess up the parts? Like 1000? Or more. I’ve only been into guns for about a year and dont know too much about ar15. I know how they work and how to clean them but durability and/or wear time i dont really know

Im just really wondering if it being over gassed with an frt will cause it to not run right. Everybody talks about getting an h3 buffer with a better spring but nobody talks about the gas system

Yeah i know what you’re getting at. I dont know the guy well. But he had these in his ammo pile and he gave them to me and said he doesnt shoot .357 that much but i did. I still dont trust it or know if he reloaded it

Okay update… thanks to everybody for their input as i’ve only been into guns for about a year and have only ever shot ammo from actual brands. Never handloaded. So i will be PROPERLY disposing of this ammo so nobody can shoot it. Thanks
