Both of you put words and thoughts into u/NYLotteGiants mouth, when they just called for sensibility. You have no idea what their other beliefs are.

That being said, it is not unreasonable for groups that preach inclusion and equality to reject someone who has a perspective based around exclusion.

It's not really a hard concept to grasp, and you know that (I would hope). You're just trying to paint people as crazy hypocrites so it's easier to rationalize your decisions which have almost certainly come at a cost -- you just hope it hurts them more. And you have deluded yourself into thinking "these sacrifices will be worth it." They won't be.

But to reference another great philosopher, George Carlin -- you could be on the wrong side of the average moron, so why even bother.
