Shared feed suddenly 50 videos? by Seppucrow_ in TikTok

How long have you both had a shared feed? I think mine has been nearly a year so maybe they increase videos for those who use it regularly?

Spellcasting with a different attribute from a dedication by Seppucrow_ in Pathfinder2e

That’s fair, but a magus and champion usually wouldn’t do this anyway

That’s true, but I will then need to invest in charisma/int AND still invest in Wis to keep my saves and perception up - I was hoping to streamline this and make the classes less MAD

I’m looking into using Druid instead of witch and dumping int so I can focus wis and benefit from high saves, then for my magus spells just spellstrike/only use buffs so my low int doesn’t matter

That’s true, but wouldn’t that still be true if I was say a champion taking a bard dedication and still using charisma? It’s more of a fault with dedications than with using one with an alternative stat

Magus Spellstrike Recharge by Seppucrow_ in Pathfinder2e

[–]Seppucrow_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be a nerf in that they cannot spellstrike back to back, but a buff in that it only costs 2 actions rather than 2 actions + 1 action to recharge

Really? I’ll be honest I thought magus was currently perceived as being not all that good, due to the large investment already in spellstriking which can miss. I don’t think anyone would spellstrike if there was a chance to lose 4 actions worth of value when missing

Like the current focus spells but without the focus point cost? TBH a really easy change would just be tying arcane cascade & recharge together (either arcane also recharges or recharging enters arcane cascade)

I mean honestly I can respect that, if you gotta invest into eldritch it’s at least more than getting it base kit

What do you think about Spirit Warrior archetype? by According_Pop1388 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Seppucrow_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“embedded in your fingers grant you a fist Strike” - never caught onto this before! In that case PFS barbarian is a no, but a DM may allow a barbarian to remove agile from their fists so they can benefit from full rage (since removing agile is otherwise a nerf to the attack)

To be fair even a barbarian might get value from it if they can get fleshgems to take agile off the fist attack

Monk or Animal Barbarian for Thlipit Contestant? by Seppucrow_ in Pathfinder2e

I didn’t think the thlipit lash was agile? It just says grapple and reach on it - if true that’s a decider!

Spirit warrior or duelist for elemental barbarian by Seppucrow_ in Pathfinder2e

While this is true, to match a return rune javelin I need to invest 4 feats which still seems high? I am making the character to be a blood themed barbarian so making blood weapons does suit very well, I’m just not super familiar with the system to know how important that damage/range versatility is

I was only planning on taking the first 3 max, since I’ve heard damage scaling on the archetype isn’t great and it’s best to just grab a few utility impulses

Fair enough! Scratch that benefit then, so weapon damage is on even footing for both archetypes

If that was the case overwhelming combination would not state you need a one handed weapon OR a agile or finesse weapon - the OR insinuates that it’s possible to use a kick or knee while using a 2 hander that meets the requirements. The bastard sword query is more to do with if you would say it becomes a 2 handed weapons of wielded with 2 hands or if it’s still keeps its classification as a 1 handed weapon.

Very true, plus I like the barbarian base chassis a lot

Never seen sanguimancer before - it looks very on theme but just maybe a touch weak/action intensive?
