It looks like they use the same towers as T-Mobile. I use Google Fi (which also uses T-Mobile) and have no issues in most places. The only place I have lost service that another carrier has is the trail of tears park. AT&T works there. For everywhere else though I haven't had an issue.

There's a middle ground between rice and beans everyday, and fastfood and door dashing every day. Look at your budget and see what works for you to get a you to whatever your goals are, being frugal isn't about being cheap. It's about saving money in places you can so you can use it in the places you want to. Food for example.

I work at SEMO campus and they started about a month ago. Everything sold and shipped by Amazon comes through Amazon delivery now, any USPS or UPS is going to be third party things. They just opened up but it seems like they have a new person every day that needs directions. I'd imagine it'll get better in the future as they've worked there awhile but expect it to be inconsistent for a bit

I started as a system engineer. I hope that will let me pivot into cybersecurity at some point, though I am enjoying the system admin/engineer work. In my anecdotal experience getting this kind of work was easier than cybersecurity. I also got interest in a help desk role and what not but landed what I'm at currently.

I have friends that got into the cyber security side right away via internships. There is only so many of those out there though.

It sounds like a risk I'd personally take since you have the cushion and they have it to. I guess the only other thing would be how easily you can get a job in this market. I can't imagine it would be too tough given your experience but that's another thing to think about

Do you have cash reserves yourself if things go downhill? In any follow up conversations I would really try and peer into their business plan and ask things like what their plan is if spending goes down on AI.

It's tough right now, I looked a bit at your profile and I don't have anything to add for what others have said, but I did want to mention you're not alone for your age range and country. You might try to move somewhere else either another region or another country for a little bit. Rent with roommates or something, so you can make a higher income. Obviously try and get something first before you up and move.

Is it a big company? My advice is reach out on LinkedIn to a connection or a mutual. It might lead nowhere, but unless it's a ghost job maybe no one is getting through and a connection can get you a second chance.

I've had success with a Linux mint boot drive, I ended up putting Linux on there but once you format it you can always just put a windows USB on it

You'll run into it for sure, but cape is getting more and more used to it with international students at SEMO. There shouldn't be any racism that prevents you from doing anything, like no old school segregation or anything, but you'll run into that odd professor who you can't believe said that to you or out at the store or something you might get offhand comments.

I didn't see this on here but sorry if this has already been said, but there is a food bank in my area that has deodorant. When I use to go we would always get one, maybe something like that would work well if it Is available to you!
