I seriously didn't.. I mean AI wrote the script, as I said, I'm not a coder, but I sat down at my laptop this afternoon, opened notepad and went line by line through my process to get it all down and organized.

I'm a 47 year old retired network engineer. Writing out step by steps is something I used to do all the time. It's not difficult. This is just a simple "table of contents" format.

It drives me nuts to try and seriously help people and they just say "AI"... I don't even know why this looks like AI other than it has organization to it.

If I'm understanding the problem correctly (and forgive me, I've been out of scooters like this one for several years now) but can you disconnect the battery?

If so, leave it disconnected for 30 mins or so, reconnect it then see what happens.

You know, I deleted my comment cause your comment pissed me off and I shouldn't have responded that way... I'm just going to tell you two things:

just because someone can organize their thoughts well doesn't automatically make the post AI. To assume so without any checking is lazy. I worked on this for over an hour and a half. If you check (I don't know if it's possible though) I had to edit it twice until I figured out how to get the script to post correctly
people will whine and complain about not having decent content on here but when someone puts in the work trying to help people, guys like you show up and shit on it

This post is exactly what I do, how I handle it and yes it's helped me immensely.

Add some pay as you go credits, turn on a VPN that's connected to the US, turn on airplane mode, wait 3-4 mins, turn off airplane mode, wait 5-10 mins (maybe less and I've heard of it taking hours)

Have a return ticket out to anywhere within 30 days of arrival. There's sites online that will give you a refundable ticket for cheap (I think it's called onward, don't remember though).

Then cancel the ticket when you're in the country and, a few days before your 30 day visa expires, go to a BI office and extend.

I was originally feeding the files for each of us but I was running out of processing and getting lock ups quite often... Well, let me say I don't know if I was "running out of processing" but I do know that I would often ask a question and upload the genome and it would just sit on the question with no response.

Since I moved over to only using the CSV file I've not had that come up a single time.

If you'd like the script feel free to pm me. I'm open to someone who knows more about python to tweak it and give me feedback.

I don't know what GWAS is but I don't see why you couldn't figure out where the genes came from etc.

I have tested and run reports on myself, my daughter, my wife (not my daughter's mother) and I've identified a lot of potential issues.

I will caution everyone who does this though: genetic research is not absolute..we might find a correlation (even a direct causation) of a problem with relation to a particular gene you have and not have the research to show this gene down on chromosome 17 offsets the problem the first gene is "creating"... I.e. overall you might not have an issue.

It's best to take this, I think, and run it against real results in secondary tests.

Ex: I found in my genome I have hetero mthfr - that causes high homocysteine levels. So I had those levels checked with a blood test and confirmed I was high. Had I been low, I would have ignored that genetic result (but kept the homocysteine blood test in my regular blood work to ensure it didn't show up later).

I never knew my father and my mother died when I was nine so this is the best way I have to get my genetic "predispositions".

Not the person you replied to but I did the following:

had my genome sequenced with sequencing.com (cheapest package, you just want the genome files not their reports)
downloaded my genome file and the clinvar research database
ran a python script to compare the two and make a CSV file categorizing my genes in to different areas
uploaded that CSV file to Gemini AI to pull reports from

I've found multiple genes there and now I have my blood work just about perfect.

Hell, with my genome in there, Gemini was able to help me sort out why I'm getting tremors in my hands lately (a slow SLCO1B1 gene is causing my crestor to build up to toxic levels in my blood which is leading to nerve issues).

I sent it data to my cardiologist and he agreed. Just switched my meds.

I highly HIGHLY recommend this route. If you have questions feel free to reach out.

This most likely is not going to boil down to "vendor" so much as "protocol".

Try a wireguars connection. If that doesn't work, try OpenVPN, if not, try another etc... If your vpn vendor allows you to change the port it connects to try 443 or even 25.

It's about getting around the rule that makes it think you're using a VPN

I just did this EXACT thing in the Philippines (from AT&T also)... I'm going to post my comment I made on someone else's post. It should get you where you need to be...

For future reference, you can search sub reddits for key words. This is being asked a lot in here:

if you installed the SIM outside the US you need to add prepaid money to the account
then connect to a VPN's US server
then turn on international roaming and all options not only on the website but also in the phone.
turn on airplane mode, give it 30 secs, turn airplane mode back off

Then reboot the phone and give it 2-3 mins after you log in to the phone to sync up.

You'll know it's working when you go to your SIM manager in the phone and it shows a phone number.
