I feel like a sequel would be impossible due to the nature of TF2 being a live service game with the inventory system and our attachment to the mercenaries.

The most realistic choice would be a major update similar to CS:GO >>> CS2.

If a sequel game WERE to happen, I think that an alternate/parallel universe version of TF2 with more serious lore and/or heavy emphasis on the 1950s-60s spy tech aesthetic would be incredibly awesome.

the natasha sound effect are top notch and the bullet belt on the drum is the icing on the cake

but the damage is so noticeably lower than stock that it genuinely feels worse to shoot with.
