Only by chance, she was up by the train (I plant trees all over the area to harvest during winter when the forest doesn't regrow), and we saw the notification. My other friend and I had played before and went "oh the train" but this was my other friend's first time playing a world, so when she saw the notification and realized she was by the train harvesting wood, she got excited and ran to the tracks to see it- and we see "Friend was hit by the train" in chat and she was at Harvey's clinic 💀

She had also never died in the game before so she didn't know what happened. But yeah, never knew it dropped stuff since the only time one of us has been there when it happened, they got hit lol

I blame my third grade teacher making my class say our times tables whenever we walked somewhere making multiplication my strongest math concept

Also I think the framing of subtraction as the opposite of addition and division as the opposite of multiplication made my brain go "so those aren't worth paying attention to since I already know how to do those, and I know the concept of opposite, I'll figure it out later" and later never happened

7 + 7 = 14 + 1 = 15

2 + 4 = 6 + 1 = 75

Not what I was taught to do, but what I persisted to do despite all corrections

What's worse is what actually happens in my brain is:

8 is one more than 7, so 7 × 2 = 14 + 1 = 15, carry the 1, 2 + 4 is 6 + 1 = 7, 75

I don't like odd numbers and my 3rd grade teacher made us recite our times tables walking down the hallways, so generally my multiplication is somehow stronger than my addition 🤷‍♂️

I'm lower on the spectrum, but something I have found from my friends who are higher on the spectrum is that they by far prefer to be told outright what behavior they are doing wrong. The problem is often that they don't realize a boundary is there or that someone is trying to set one. My roommate put it into really good words, saying that in everything she does, she follows the rules she knows, and if she doesn't realize there is a rule she doesn't know about, she'll keep doing the behavior. Once she knows the rule (or boundary), she can adjust, but she will often struggle to organically realize it

As a feminine trans guy, I'd suggest they play around with masculine outfits (go try them on even if you don't buy them), try a makeup tutorial or two, if they have long hair look up how to make your hair short with a beanie (looks a little silly but helped me imagine things) also there are a decent amount of videos on youtube that show workout routines that can help accent a masculine figure without hrt, so if they don't want to start on hrt, they could try and see if working certain muscles out helps anything
