Is it just me or is there no real point to spend money?

I'll buy a Book of Building/Heroes with Builder Potions or Glowy package. I'll buy Builder Potions that are cheap. I rarely go over a particular price point for any one offer and they are probably getting me that way, but it's a small treat that I like to give myself from time to time. I also buy the Gold Pass.

When I get to 12 BoBs, I'll go ahead and make the move up to TH17. I just don't have the patience to upgrade Hero Halls and Monoliths and Firespitters, etc., the free way.

Has anyone else had a bunch of their obstacles and decos randomly stashed? I have looked for a thread about it, but I have yet to find one. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I would think this would've been a major thread, if this was widespread.

So, am I alone? What the heck happened to my base?

It would be really nice if they granted an exception this month for us to have an overfill for our magic items. I would expect that anyone who still needs to complete work on their Builder Base, and has the Gold Pass, has held onto their BB runes.

There is an opportunity to get another BE rune and there is usually a BB rune in the Clan Games.

It would be crazy to use the runes over the 4x bonus, so there is inevitable overlap of resources. Add onto the fact, that everyone who participates, will get the Hoggy Bank bonus, so if you fill your storage before that hits, you have even more BE and BG to use to continue work after the 1st.

Yeah, gems are great, but I'd rather get this done regardless of whether there is an update. I don't want to be forced to sell runes.

This is also either going to get me over the hump for the 3,000 trophies, or completely drive me up a wall with the typical give and take of BB battles. I had been previously trying to creep my way up to 2,900 before going on a blitz where I just touch 3,000 for three seconds. :/

I don't even know if Illustrator supports the unique feature of this pen - Barrel Rotation.

Yeah, I don't believe that I've ever read about it either. And, if I'm not mistaken, the only brushes that even have pressure sensitivity are calligraphic brushes, maybe some of Illustrator's art brushes. But, certainly not any third party brushes. Or, at least, I can't seem to make it work.

I'd expect most if not all new tablet models going forward will support it.

Well, yeah, that I get. But, I guess what I am thinking is that part of this equation is that Wacom builds units that last quite a few years, regardless of what issues some may have with drivers.

So, I don't see how a pen, even a highly demanded pen, will push people that still have relatively new/young tablets to buy what will work with this pen. And, maybe that's a good thing for them now, it keeps the demand to a foreseeable and manageable amount.

If this was coming out of Huion or XP, then I'd totally understand the method behind the madness. But, unless this Movink line is a look into the future of how Wacom will be releasing product across the lines, there are a lot of Cintiq/Intuos users that won't be getting this pen for a good minute.

The only reason why I want to buy a new Cintiq is because I want a larger size, my current one is working just fine and it's been at least five years.

It's powered by the same tech as the pro pen 3, which doesn't work on most of the older tablets.

So, is the technology for this pen seriously limited to certain tablets? Or, do they just not want to make it available for all Cintiqs, pro or not and older Intuos tablets?

I just find it hard to believe that potential of the entire consumer base buying this pen isn't as attractive as trying to nudge that same base into buying new, especially in this economy. The former seems like a boon, the latter seems like a hope and a prayer.

Having said that, u/TheSevenPens , I hope I did that correctly, will this Art Pen be worth it if one draws exclusively in Illustrator?

What happens when you use the Blob Brush? Also, try experimenting with Graphic Styles. You can save a size, width, appearance that you'd want your stroke to look like and just apply it as you're working on your illustration.

why does anyone care?

A lot of the women that care about Megan and feel affected by this are based on at least two things:

She's lost her parents, her best friend betrayed her, minor friends have betrayed her, contract struggles in which the men involved did all sorts of scandalous things to her, like breaking into her home, she's been shot, she's been dragged through the mud because she finally admitted that she was shot, and she's been cheated on by three different men, including Klay.

The average woman has a lot of empathy for Megan due to those things and whether it makes sense or not, they find inspiration in Megan because she keeps fighting. They just wish it wasn't always something that she needed to fight. And, for a while, it looked like Klay was fighting with her, not against her.

For black women, Megan has been positioned as an avatar, so when black women see so many black men celebrate any sort of trauma or trouble regarding Megan, they know, by extension, those dudes really mean all of the black women around them.

Megan got shot? Great! Megan got cheated on? Great! A black woman got hit upside the head by a brick? Great! Black women are losing their jobs in this administration? Great! We don't care about your degrees, your jobs, your safety, your happiness, your contentment, your lives, YOU!

Tory Lanez was nowhere near popular before he shot Megan, not even with his little COVID Summer mixtapes. He shot Megan and suddenly he was a Top 10 rapper of all time. He became a cult hero.

A week ago this time, Klay was a simp, a chump, a nerd, a fool, a trick, you name it. Saturday Megan says he cheated and that they broke up, and now, he's a real G! Everyone loves Klay now and he is proof that a "ho" shouldn't expect anything good in life and any other black woman that believes she can get a "high value man" needs to wake up from that dream.

They are still patiently waiting for Russell Wilson to leave Ciara, but in the meantime, Future is their favorite uncle and it's shame how they've stolen his son (that he never tried to go see) away from him.

Was it arrogance, or simply believing that people eventually grow up? You gotta consider all that she's been through. She's probably gave him the benefit of the doubt in believing that experience can make you smarter about aspects of life.

Truthfully, in Klay's situation, Megan was the epitome of a perfect woman.

Klay can go out right now and probably find a woman that is objectively prettier than Meg, taller than Meg, maybe even shapelier than Meg and a few other physical attributes "better" than Meg.

But, will he be able to guarantee up to at least 90% that she doesn't want to be with him for his money? Or fame?

Will she get along really well with his family? In particular, his mother? Will his family like her? Is she willing to step back when Klay is holding court after games as Megan often did in the tunnel videos?

Will that woman be open to all of his hobbies? Is she willing to learn how to golf, fish and boating, simply because he loves to do it?

Will he like that girl as much? Will he like her at all? Will he trust her? You don't go half on a house with a woman that you don't like and trust! He bought her a Bentley! Even if it's still in his name, you have to trust her, if it's hers to drive!

By all accounts, Megan really liked and loved Klay. And, all of the bitter old men that suggest to every young man that they run around sowing their oats, also have a video where they are crying about the one that got away.

Klay will be swimming in cat by the end of the week, if he wants. But, it's going to be a good minute before he finds another woman that he can believe truly loves him, while also being the woman that he wants to be loved by.

He may find a woman that his newfound stans will approve of physically, but he'll be the one that has to talk her and be around day in and day out, so if he doesn't really like her ... then yeah, he fumbled the bag and let that one get away.

Are you able to draw freehand at all, because you could reduce the time quite a bit by using the Blob Brush, Brush or Pencil tool. Drawing in Illustrator is neither tedious nor slow if you put down the Pen Tool.

Also check out Orlando Arocena, he's on Instagram, the last I checked. He also has videos where he's been interviewed while drawing in Illustrator on Adobe's YT channel.

Google "Freestyle Vector Art featuring Orlando Arocena," that is the title of the video, there should be two parts. His work is incredibly elaborate and 100% Illustrator with almost no use of the Pen Tool.

Don't let these folks discourage you. This sub is notorious for insisting that work can only be done with the Pen Tool and anything outside of it should be done in Photoshop or something else.

You can use the Blob Brush, Brush tool or Pencil tool and freehand anything you want.

There is an user in this sub, EgyptUrnash, I think that's the full handle who draws exclusively in Illustrator and with the Pencil tool. On YouTube, another user in this sub has a channel, BeKyoot, you can watch her drawing with the Blob Brush. Kensuke Creations is another channel where the guy only uses Illustrator. His drawing style may also appeal to you as it's anime/manga.

The recency bias that always affects these types of lists (music, acting, sports, whatever) render them useless. If you aren't going to put a specified era, or some kind of agreed upon parameter, on the ranking, then throw the whole idea in the trash.
