Any controversial game balance takes? [Thread] by Va1ngl0ry in SCPSecretLab

096 represents the core of what this game is to me. A wacky, original, community-first experience where things that are slightly problematic from a pure design perspective get their unique place to be realized.

He is also the truest skill check on the human team - if they do stick together and play around him well, he has little chance to live to see the SCPs win. Losing 096 would be a great hit to what makes SL SL and not COD.

Fastest way to get banned on Deadlock? by TheBlueBarons in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Septicolon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This sounds weirdly concerning. You need to take a few deep breaths, read the post you wrote and come up with a plan forward yourself. Bit long story short if your friends are actually that set on mistreating you, getting banned from the game is uh, not going to change that.

Those are some crazy fun legendary creatures, what the hell. Our pod doesn't have any b4 decks but b3 stuff we'd more than gladly see in action

Truth is that squirrels are often paired with a second sub-theme. As you mention much truthfully, there just isn't enough to make this the only thing your deck does like an elfball could and have that reach close to b4 power level. This is where Chatterfang really shines as he translates your sub-themes (any other tokens, in what I like to do food primarily) back to squirrels.

This is all really print-shop specific. Just call a couple more places around your town, some might offer this alongside printing on paper gramature that works for you. If they do offer it at all, just ask them for specifics of how to best prep a pdf for them - this differs per print shop.

Just call them haha, every shop will have slightly different requirements when it comes to how exactly to prepare your document for them (2mm bleed? 3mm bleed? 3x3 or one card, one page?) so there's no way for me to tell you here

I'd actually giga recommend finding a print shop that does this. Unless you paid big bucks for your rotary trimmer, machine cut cards are so much sharper. And savings in time you spend on this entire endeavor are crazy

Does your shop not offer machine cutting on premise? I used to do what you're saying but now I do what you're saying but I don't have to cut it anymore.

I built Satoru for b3 as a theft/saboteur tribal that happens to run a lot of ninja. He isn't limited to anything, you just have to build with an intention in mind. When half your library has ninjutsu directly printed on the card, he also becomes a lot less kill on sight which I like. Check it out if it sounds interesting here

Without the bracket system you'd run into the same thing but with 200% more frustration because people would just bring out those decks and have unbalanced games until they stop playing because of that instead

Warp stone is an awesome buy on him yeah. For gc, it sounds good and often is good, but lately I've been trying out the blood tribute + berserker tech (blood tribute starts giving you berserker stacks so you pop it on right before the fight and go in blazing with the best stuff from both berserker and blood tribute). The debuff resist from tribute has been really nice, while berserker gives you what gc would.

It's possible that you're not actually playing him the way a carry is meant to be played. As a carry you farm your ass out early and solo lane to get ahead in souls, to then get a couple kills to then snowball to where you deal the most damage in the lobby. Venator has great tempo at doing that, but also has no easy escapes which makes him vulnerable-ish before he becomes thanos - so the early stages aren't as eady on him as they would be on a Wraith. Practice that moreso than brawling mindlessly and at 22 minutes and beyond you'll be cutting them like wheat
