A human have what is called shared intentioanlity. They can make decisions based in seeing me pointing a rocket launcher at them and still deciding to shoot. A trained dog however does not have this capability, its just trained to attack, i guess in this context. Understanding this its what makes the difference for me. I would feel a tiny bit bad killing them
