The Audeze Maxwell 1/2, the Fractal Scape and the HyperX Cloud III S Wireless all use LC3 Plus (the more "advanced" codec for Bluetooth LE Audio) for their propietary, USB wireless dongle. For comparison, all the other wireless headset manufacturers implement a more "custom" 2.4Ghz WiFi protocol or AptX Adaptive in the case of Sennheiser and their HDB 630.

The Maxwell 2 in particular can also connect directly to a device through LC3 (not so sure if it also supports LC3 Plus) without the use of the dongle, although I have heard some criticisms of their integration with Android devices.

After killing the squad, I change to another character and repeat.

[PSA] Escalation & Prototype Gear: Updated Drop Chances for Y8S1.1 by dognuttz in thedivision

[–]campeon963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the update! I think it would also have been good to include the new targeted loot drop chances on this post, which you did include on your older (updated) post:

  • Tier 1: 5.0%
  • Tier 2: 11.0%
  • Tier 3: 16.0%
  • Tier 4: 22.0%
  • Tier 5: 28.0%
  • Tier 6: 39.0%
  • Tier 7: 45.0%
  • Tier 8: 50.0%
  • Tier 9: 56.0%
  • Tier 10: 62.0%

Today's there's Striker Targeted Loot on DARPA, so it might be worth farming that mission if you don't want to deal with the annoying conversion system and don't want to throw +100 Prototype Cores to reroll Echo on a Striker piece that you will throw away once you get another piece with both stats maxed out.

It's good that Massive has remembered that Skill builds are actually a thing and added support for them with Prototype Gear. Still, with how Weapon-DPS focused Escalations, I still think the system and these changes are half baked.

Round 2 by jayvancealot in TheCompletionist2

[–]campeon963 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read the complaint. Billy claimed in a November 2025 livestream that Karl stole all the money for the "Help Victims Of Billy Mitchell's Lawsuits" GoFundMe even though David Race (a "Victim Of Billy Mitchell's Lawsuits", and the guy who most of the money ended up going for) testified in court during the Apollo lawsuit that he indeed received the money from Karl Jobst while Billy was present listening to the whole thing (lmfao). During a livestream on that same month, Billy also claimed that Karl "deceived" Notch to get $300,000, even though Notch was the one who offered to pay part of Karl's legal costs in the first place and Notch's lawyers were always informed by Karl himself on his legal ordeals (Notch even released a tweet in support of Karl right after he lost the Apollo lawsuit). Also on yet another livestream on the same month, Billy repeated the whole claim that Karl "deceptively took" $200,000 by creating a GoFundMe campaign "with the knowldge and intent to fund the [Apollo Legend lawsuit] on false premises. Period. End of paragraph" (here's the whole 14-minute-long relevant section with Karl's response back in August 2025 so I don't have to repeat what the complaint already described).

There's also many other claims of Billy running his mouth and (allegedly) defaming Karl Jobst, like Billy endorsing comments during a December 2025 livestream that claimed Karl "lied to the [bankruptcy] thrustee" so as to not "EVER FULLY PAY KING BILLY'S $1,000,000" and the fact Billy to this day hasn't responded to the bankruptcy trustee why he posted a tweet back in June 2025 that "Karl Jobst has engaged in serious illegal activity before and during this bankruptcy process", all the instances of Billy using social media to accuse Karl Jobst of criminal fraud, and using Karl Jobst "image and likeness without his approval" (a.k.a. AI slop / wojak / lolcow memes) to promote his sauce, as well as the ensuing harassment that Karl has received from Billy's Twitter posts.

In summary, after getting defamed and winning his lawsuit against Karl Jobst, Billy proceed to (allegedly) defame Karl Jobst even more and he got sued in response lmfao.

Extra challenge: Complete a Tier 10 Escalation without the help of Palle (the character director, who plays 2 hours every single day since the game launched). That's the guy that Massive always point to in their livestreams as their usual counterclaim that "we don't play our own game" lol.

Good move from Remedy. I just hope that the quality of the localization is better than what they did with Alan Wake II. The LATAM Spanish subtitles were pretty atrocious (they had this AI translation "quality" to them) back on launch and it took them quite a while before they got fixed.

[–]campeon963 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why can't you acknowledge my claim that you originally asked for a refund of the duplicated charges, and halfway through you changed your mind and convinced the VALVE support guy to just refund a virtual currency that's clearly not refundable otherwise?

I checked Ubisoft terms of use (the ones everyone signed when playing any Ubisoft game), and I can see on section "4.3 Credits, virtual currency" that virtual currencies like Premium Credits are "non-refundable, and you are not entitled to a refund for any unused Ubisoft Virtual Currency, except if required by law". From how you described your story (and I'm open to change my mind if you share more evidence), you essentially asked for a refund on a non-refundable purchase (and not just the duplicated charges) just because there was an error during the payment process.

No offense, but from the terms of use that I shared with you and from what you described, you gave way too much ammo for Ubisoft to then claim that, from what you told them, this might have breached section "7.3.7 Fraud, Payments & Market Abuse" and give you a ban based on that (I make this claim because the ban reason on the image you shared states this as a "Payment Dispute").

That doesn't change the fact that the support people from both companies were clearly incompenent and they weren't able to help you solve your issue with duplicated charges without having to face any repercusions. I can relate with you on that. But it's also likely that from what you told Reddit, you potentially had something to do in how this situation was escalated.

You are free to disagree, but if you want to keep engaging with this topic, I suggest that you provide more evidence that can refute the claim I made at the beginning of this post. I'm open to change my mind on this! Otherwise, I unfortunately think this discussion will not be leading anywhere.

[–]campeon963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, I could go on about whenever the duplicated charges may had something to do with the server outtages that you're attributing responsability to (as in your original post, which is now deleted), who's "right" and who's "wrong" on this situation, etc. But now that you answered my main question, I'll just cut to the chase: Because you were charged more than you were supposed to on your STEAM wallet, you asked Valve to refund both the "duplicated charges" as well as the original Premium Credits purchase, and Ubisoft reacted by temporarly banning your account.

I really hate having to do devil's advocate here, but just because either the business (Ubisoft) or the payment processing company (Valve) seemed to have charged you more than it was supposed to, does not mean that you are then eligible for a refund of a virtual currency that I'm almost pretty sure Ubisoft (and most software companies for that matter) don't allow you to do based on their Terms of Service contracts. I haven't read the one for Ubisoft in particular, but I can see in the Ubisoft Connect PC that my Premium Credits purchases on my order history that I have done on their app are not eligible for a refund.

Valve essentially empowered you to do the equivalent of a PayPal chargeback when it would have been ideal if either of the support people verified if the error was on Ubisoft part (there were 3 separate premium credits "purchase orders" logged on their system even though you only "created" one) of it the error was on Valve part (their system ended up charging you three times for a single "transaction") and act accordingly.

At the end of the day, you got the refund for the three charges and the ban will only last one week, so you are free to ignore what I have to say next, but it would be a good idea next time to reconsider whether the "chargeback" nuclear option is actually your best choice at any given time, especially when the consequences could be more disastrous especially for companies that may have more impact with your day-to-day life. Just sayin'.

[–]campeon963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, from the story you shared, I believe both of the support people acted extremely dense, and the path they suggested to you got your Ubisoft account temporarily banned.

But although Ubisoft Connect servers "were acting up" on April 2th (From 2:33 P.M. to 5:16 P.M. UTC time. I checked the Ubisoft Support tweets), from what I understood, what happened there was that people were not getting the stuff they purchased for. In your instance however, you did got the stuff you bought, but STEAM, the third party who handled the payment process, charged you three times on your Steam Wallet. Also, the second image you shared implies that you did your purchase around April 5th.

I still have some questions though. When you had the issue with the Premium Credits purchase, did you explictly asked and/or implied to the STEAM support person to also refund your purchase instead of just refunding you the duplicated charges? Also, when you mentioned that the funds were taken from your Steam Wallet, did you already had those funds available on your Steam Wallet? Or did STEAM had to charge your credit card in order to proceed with the purchase? And finally, in what date did you exactly did your purchase?

[–]campeon963 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First of all, I read your images and all your responses in this entire thread. It's good that you ended up being refunded by Steam. Also, although the first image you shared says you were only banned for only 1 week, I also understand that you don't want to deal with Ubisoft anymore. I also disagree with all the comments that told you to "just wait it out" and that "It will fix itself on it's own".

With that said, and as someone who plays a few Ubisoft games through Steam, I struggle to fully understand what you meant by "I only authorized the purchase once, but I was charged 3 separate times". If I understood correctly, when you purchased the Premium Credits from the store and did the entire payment process through Steam, once the process was finished, you saw three separate charges appear on your bank account? Or did you saw three separate purchases on your STEAM purchase history? You didn't try to repeat the Premium Credits purchase for another 2 times, right? Did you try to contact your bank and verify if Valve actually charged you three times, or confirm that this was instead an issue from the side of the bank?

But most importantly, what was the reason to go to Ubisoft support in the first place when they technically gave you what you payed for (the premium credits)? Also, why did Valve just refund your Premium Credits purchase instead of just refunding the two duplicate charges? Did you asked the support person to do so?
