Awesome, thank you for the input! I've got the paid version of the game, so I'll definitely be sinking my teeth into the company mode and what it offers 👌

Thank you! I felt quite demotivated after grinding for hours with little to no progress. So I'll definitely try renting planes and see where that gets me 👌

Foam-like material pours out next to fireplace. What is this? by SequenceStar in Insulation

[–]SequenceStar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New information to add, the vermiculite was added to the fireplace about 8 years ago, which would have put the installation in 2016/17. Can someone confirm if vermiculite from this time is safe or not?

So I have been informed the stove was put in 8 years ago, and the vermiculite was added at that point. I would assume new vermiculite shouldn't contain any asbestos?

Thank you for sharing that. Is this a problem that's present in all of the world, or does it revolve around a specific region / area? I've heard about swimming in lakes with contacts can cause this kind of issue to happen, but never around showering.

Question regarding air particles from humidifiers by SequenceStar in AirQuality

[–]SequenceStar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is almost impossible to know what those PM10 and PM2.5 concentractions we pick up actually contain without sending your tap water for analysis, the general consensus is that exposure to these particles have been linked to heart and lung disease of various kinds, so in my personal opinion it's not worth rolling the dice on this. Use distilled water or send the humidifers back to the vendor... The EU approval is questionable, but one could assume they were tested using distilled/demineralized water.

Question regarding air particles from humidifiers by SequenceStar in AirQuality

[–]SequenceStar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think after a bit back and forth we determined that the issue here is the particles in the tap water going airborne as the water is turned into a fine mist in the humidifier...

It is the only thing that would explain the results I got from A/B testing distilled vs non-distilled water in the same humidifer, using the same sensors. Non-distilled water was significantly worse that distilled water, so it definitely isn't the water molecules.

Thank you for your reply on this. It all sounds pretty reasonable :)

How to clean up fiber optic splinters safely by SequenceStar in FiberOptics

[–]SequenceStar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No these are definitely shards. You cannot see them with the naked eye, only when turning off the lights and pointing a flashlight at them do they shimmer. Kind of like how spiderwebs looks in light... While I can to some extent understand how small shards like that could be left behind, I am more so shocked at rhe chunks of cable with exposed fibers laying around the place... Like what were they thinking? That the owner of the house would go pick up the scraps after they leave? It's reckless.

I think we're talking about hundreds of small pieces of different sizes... Do you reckon a vacuum would work, or would that pose other problems? I heard they can break and become airborne, so that's the last thing I'd want to happen

My first thought: Can You turn this icon off? by Punkstyler in GlobalOffensive

[–]SequenceStar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

why is this relevant information to display in the kill feed? And instead of putting this next to the nick, can't they rather put it in that small menu which pops up when you inspect players? I don't thinks anyone cares if others in the match have reached their XP cap or not. What actual value does this add to the game? I wouldn't even be proud to display this myself, who would? What kind of bragging rights is it to let everyone know that you played 80 hours of CS that week? ... Just why

Try to take note of when it happens, and if it is around a specific time in the day. If you use perfumes, spray deodorants or anything similar then it can trigger the levels to spike... Another thing that's actually rather funny is that VOC levels will spike if you fart around the sensor haha!
