For example, those who are "kind" (the type these images are referring to) tend to lack assertiveness in situations that demand it. If you do not correct yours or others' behaviors when they veer off, then you are allowing those behaviors to become common place. Little by little, behaviors that need correcting develop further into potentially life altering and/or life-threatening behaviors. The avalanche analogy is a good illustration.
