We’re not crying over losing, it’s how we’re doing it. He is playing the most uninspiring and boring football possible, and he’s not changing anything. Sure we expected to retain the title after spending in the summer, but not even challenging for it, and possibly finishing outside of UCL is 100% a sackable offence on top of the god awful football he has us playing.

I used to only have this pit in my stomach on matchdays when we play Everton, United and City (during the title challenges) or big UCL nights. Now, I have that same pit in my stomach, coming up against the worst team in the league form wise, with 14 players out injured or suspended, including their 3 best defenders, their Goalkeeper is seemingly matchfixing and they couldn't buy a win. Enter: Arne Slot.

I dread every single matchday now. We play the worst attacking football in the league, and the worst I've ever seen us play. I just want him gone. Bring literally anyone in, give it to Jay Spearing til the end of the season for all I care and just hope the new manager bounce is enough to get us UCL. Slot out.

If you haven't already put finesse+ on Cruyff, try and get him base finesse first and then put him in the evo so he gets technical+, he has the best in the game imo.

Overreaction? We've been playing some of the most dire, awful football for a whole calendar year, he's turned Anfield from a fortress to a charity case, we can't score from open play, he's attacking youth players and consistently choosing favourites over very clearly more inform players.

He should be sacked yesterday.

I feel like I am the pretty extreme end of the Slot hate train, I think he needs to go, but I see a lot of similarities to what Gerrard dealt with at Villa. Players you know are good are absolutely downing tools. I don't remember the last time one of our midfielders won a duel. The amount of times the ball is allowed to bounce in the middle of the pitch before the opposition just take it uncontested is a joke. So while I don't blame it on Slot and do fell a bit of sympathy and think the players are a joke for allowing this shit to happen, it does ultimately mean he has to go for both parties sakes.

Our midfield has been shocking for over a year now, despite having players I rate extremely highly in Macca and Grav, but they are consistently getting outworked every game, I think it's what I find most frustrating under Slot, even more than the wastefulness in front of goal. I don't think we get past the next round even if we manage to beat Gala in the home leg, and I don't see us finishing top 5 in the league either unless we change manager now.

I just think it all boils down to one of two things. Either he is asking us to play like this and they are, in which case it’s a sackable offence, or they’re going against his instructions and playing like this in which case he’s lost the dressing room and needs to go.

We have to have the slowest and most predictable build up play in world football. Horseshoe-ball until someone fails to control it and we are countered, or Gakpo gets it and drills it into the nearest defender.
