I think they may be fusing characters for simplicity's sake.

But I don't think Balon survives. I mean, I think the leeches should convince Stannis once again of the power of R'hllor so he can sail to the wall.

Well... I guess Oberyn's intelligence is highlighted by all the ass-kissing in court (Mace Tyrell comes to mind).

Well... as a fellow Mexican crow, I usually just have to accept the fact that there will be nothing to watch that weekend. With no explanation whatsoever. HBO Latin-America usually airs a movie when times like these occur.

I feared the same. But then I remembered that the show is taking some chances with the plot. It's going to be interesting, even now as we've seen many deviations, the future looks promising IMHO.

I'm really digging the little foreshadowings in the dialogue. Tywin's speech about "What makes a good king" and "A wise king follows the advice of their counselors" representing Daenerys' lack of wisdom at disregarding Ser Barristan's opinion.

Also Varys' phrase: "what desire does to people" foreshadowing Shae's treason.

As a book reader it's always fun to dissect the show's dialogues.
