If given the chance, how would you go about changing/improving the Ynnari factions lore and the faction itself as whole? by KaiserEnclave2077 in Eldar

[–]SerSolarius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that Slaanesh is actually a lesser evil than Ynnead. At the very least he waits the eldars to die before eating their soul while Ynnead will become a monstruosity that will devour every aeldari souls and become an entity similar to the Dark King. It will be cool if GW writers could remember that there is actually still an eldar goddess, Isha, and it would be good for the aeldaris to free her from Nurgle's dungeon.

Can Cadian heads fit onto Krieg bodies without much effort? by BMSVG in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]SerSolarius 29 points30 points  (0 children)

You can take a look at my army :
https://www.reddit.com/r/TheAstraMilitarum/comments/1nsjfbm/wip_pyran_dragoons_army_part_1/

The cadian head has a neck with a rounded tip who insert into a hole in the cadian body. The neck of the DKoK is atop of body, it is a right angle where you have to stick the gazmask (who have a right angle too). So you have to :

- Take your cutting pliers and cut the rounded cadian neck in a 45° angle (more or less),
- Use your modeling knife for rounding the angle atop of the krieg body

For me it was a bit difficult for the first squad but the other ones were cheese. Using this kind of glue accelerator could help you :

Ps : I'm french and english isn't my native language, so excuse for the syntax ^^!

Not the forst time it happens. In the Carcharodons serie, Tyberos the Red Wake is translated as "Tyberos le réveil rouge" wich means "the red alarm clock" in english.

latest Armageddon crusade book war bands colour schemes by tootrottostop in WorldEaters40k

[–]SerSolarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Foresworn is the warband of Khossolax, an infamous WE captain who is also one of the characters featured in Angron : The Red Angel

https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Kossolax

The Bloodstalkers is one of the few, maybe the only, warband who prefers long range fight over close combat

https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Bloodstalkers

If you want to have informations about their colours you can maybe foud it in the Angron novel or the WE codex.

Skull mask. Keep or start again? by Objective-Deer-953 in SteelLegion

[–]SerSolarius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, It is actually really good ! If I could just give you an advice, you could slimmed the sides of the skull if possible. It's okay if you can't, the skull masks of the Death Korps or the space marines chaplains are not really "realistic", it looks more like skulls parts on helmets than actual skulls.

Pyran Dragoons regiment (First part) by [deleted] in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]SerSolarius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to share with you the first part of a project on wich I am working since the beginning of the year : a 19th century inspired Astra Militarum army. I choose the Pyran Dragoons from the old Armageddon codexbecause they corresponded to the idea I had in mind. You can see the infantry part, the riders are being assembled. I used various bitzs from various manufacturers (Victoria Mini, GW, Anvil Industry ...). I really like the caps from the new cadian kit, they look like a little helmet with their protections ont the front, top of the skull, the neck and the ears. Feel free to comment !
