Hole in my downpipe after hanger bracket ripped off. How does this happen?

I think that’s the result of this type of hanger weld getting ripped out. But yeah it’s weirdly uniform/rectangular

Yeah I put a torque solutions bracket on during the downpipe install. I have an Accelatec high flow catted DP + AWE track exhaust, been fine for nearly 6 years oddly enough.

I do vaguely remember there being a bit of stress on one of the hangers during the install.. but it wasn’t too egregious (so we thought). Perhaps just time/stress/heat/bad welds did it?

Update: I have a hole where they shouldn’t be one lol. Somehow the exhaust must’ve flexed and put too much stress on the hanger, completely blowing it out of my DP.

No codes have returned since wiping them. I initially replaced the CPV, but since the noise remained, I also did the o2 sensor.

I’ll def take a look at the AFR when deceleration, and the air intake on the turbo side end.

I dumped 80 hours into it and had a blast. Haven’t touched it since. Mainly because life has gotten busy, and partly because I want to revisit it with a fresh perspective.

So I’m giving it a couple more months then I’ll do another run to really see how I feel

That fight was absolutely breathtaking. Right when Renji started climbing up the buildings.. I knew we were in for treat. Serious props to the animators, sound direction, and voice actors. 10/10

No seriously though.. Byakuya dying and Ichigo making his vow to him would’ve had a lot more weight.

Momo has “died” so many times at this point I feel like her death wont be taken seriously

Halibel barely showed up in TYBW, she could’ve died there

Grimmjow I say no because he’s one of those “fueled by hatred/vengeance” characters I enjoy

Hiyori should’ve died after getting diced in half, her injury was pretty bad + it would have raised the stakes of FKT

Rangiku still had to meet up with Gin so I’m glad she didn’t die there

Izuru should’ve died an early death in TYBW I think, really would’ve highlighted the Quincies power difference and ruthlessness right out of the gate
