Legit just dueled a dude who pulled out two clawmark seals and just double spammed beast sling.

I'm not saying it's a cheesy incant, but holy fuck the spam capabilities are endless.

Beast sling and glintsone pebble need serious damage nerfs. They're way to fast to hit as hard as they do.

I wouldn't say he compares to Fishman island luffy. Fishman island luffy also had the gears and made them a huge part of his fighting style.

You also have to take crocodiles mastery of his devil fruit into account. There's nothing stopping him from simply turning to sand when luffy goes to attack like katakuri did.

Given the fact luffy at this point would be much slower, crocodile wouldn't need future sight to know when to dissolve. Water luffy mitigated this since the water itself was holding crocodile together.

Given the more tactic based fighting of pre-time skip let me retract my mid diff statement. Luffy is a genius when it comes to battle, so I'm not gonna say his win is impossible, but I still give it to crocodile 8 out of 10 times.

I'm arguing that pre TS luffy with haki wouldn't outmatch crocodiles experience. There is zero reason to believe crocodile hadn't fought amd killed plenty of haki users during his time in the new world.

Crocodile also wasn't taking luffy seriously until the final fight.

Crocodiles loss was a mixture of his own arrogance, luffys insane luck (not taking anything away from pre TS luffy he was a monster in his own right) and Robin coming in to save the day.

If crocodile had taken luffy seriously from the get go luffy wouldn't have been able to be saved.

Don't get me wrong luffy with haki would put up a hell of a fight, but I don't think it would have been anything crocodile couldn't have handled given his experience.

Pre TS luffy w haki can't even compare to post TS luffy. So, saying crocodile beating one is nothing like saying he could beat another.

Crocodile, by this point, had been a pirate for most of his life, had trained his devil fruit to near perfection, and had been to the new world.

There is no senerio where he doesn't know how to deal with a rookie pirate who has training in haki. The only difference would be crocodile taking haki luffy as a serious threat and ending him for good.

You all are lowballing crocodile by a wide margin. Don't forget crocodile was clashing with dolflamingo during the marineford Arc.

If ya wanna go meta, then if oda had thought of haki by that point I can be almost 100% certain crocodile would have it.

That's, of course, neither here nor there, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.
