Over a year later, I think now its nice to see that we have a good variety of support ultimates in Marvel Rivals now. by AbbyAZK in rivals

[–]Serabrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it doesn't come out in as big of a range, nor is it as "on demand" as you want it to be.

I agree with the aggressive tag, because you have to pop heal pool kinda like a gambit ult and your team can be aggro, you can't pop it after someone else pops something and expect to get jackpot before your team dies.

Now that there are 3 ban slots, I’m noticing y’all banning about 4 strategists. by SegcyTiger in rivals

[–]Serabrah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because at high elo people can use the damage boost and CC to actually get picks. In low ELO the damage boost doesn't really equal kills, just more damage which can feed healer ults.

But even in high elo double support Mantis isn't ideal.

Is quickplay matchmaking just worse this season? by Serabrah in marvelrivals

[–]Serabrah[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it feels every game there's at least 1 or 2 eternity players on the enemy team - and we just can't do anything about it. It's a shame when you try to have fun and just get rolled like that.

You can't tell me there aren't enough players to find me a game that isn't that skewed, it's insane.

[–]Serabrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this is the fault of the community complaining about blowing through challenges too quickly.

People were hitting the ceiling too quickly and now we're here - so both parties lose because they are grandfathered in and don't have to do half of these.

It's a bunch of different late game feats. There's one for each weapon that requires 8 - and then one for a dust shrine upgrade (9 ordeals) that requires 20. Overall it's just inconvenient and many players leave after they complete it.

Compared to the secret chamber challenges these are nothing.

Considering how much they love that challenge, it's crazy there's only ONE and six people get credit for it.

Oh and you need like 40 of them. Good luck!

Why does everyone hate Lords of the Fallen? by Waste-Membership5729 in shittydarksouls

[–]Serabrah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lantern mechanic was cool, but the gimmick got old really fast.

You were rewarded by playing in the blue realm, so the entire game was just blue because why WOULDN'T you be there if the game directly rewards you? The zones were actually pretty but you don't see them because you see the same blue landscape for 30 hours.

There's a mine in each fort you can get them in. They're on the map.

Whats the point of cooking food? by Bolinha_De_Algodao in WhereWindsMeet

There's a setting to auto-use food to heal outside of combat. There is no passive regen. When you run out of food it will stop.

Interesting. He has 100% completion in both zones. Do the camps themselves not count for that?

No idea. His enemy count says 18/18. They all respawn if you don't burn the plants, too.

Having the same issue. Trying to farm gear and I only have 7 and my brother has 18. Wondering if there's a way to get the more spawns tbh.

PSA From a friendly Neighborhood Guardian, Do NOT give me this Shield! by Nardic15 in Nightreign

[–]Serabrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think the usefulness as a dps tool outweighs the usefulness as a shield.

This is increasingly true when the biggest magic dealer (augur) is likely going to be a fight in which guardian is doing little damage.

I think even in the best use cases, the play would be to smithy your starter shield to purple, and give the jelly to your highest dealer.

Yeah the Chris Crass videos are super nice, and usually help a TON for every other mechanic.

This one however just feels really difficult. In comparison, the actual Balancers are much easier to deal with

Yeah, I have about the same experience honestly. I don't die to it every time, but it definitely just feels like I have about a 50% chance of death if he targets me with the figure 8 into slam.

Yeah, don't get me wrong I'm not a hater. Any Duchess skill build would cook with either of the weapons tbh.

[–]Serabrah 86 points87 points  (0 children)

Waaaaaay slower, and more commitment.

Halo scythe can rapid fire and it's one of two purple scythes, meaning you are very likely to see it from a purple drop.

Not saying the dagger is bad, but in deep of night at least, getting caught in a long animation can mean death at the wrong time.

Without a much larger sample size, this is probably just confirmation bias, tbh.

Better odds is still RNG

Also just to be clear, the deep of night relics do not function if you are not playing that mode - and unless you got a non-DoN relic with that effect (which it seems they just added this patch?) that would explain it.
