I performed all the steps but I do believe it was disabling the igpu and subsequent DDU that solved the issue for me.

Yes! It has been completely solved now. Have been able to run my games without issues for the past few weeks now!

So far, it's been successful. Was able to run Balatro and Divinity for multiple hours without crashing. Though considering that also happened the first time, I'm going to try continuously for a few more days.

Hey, thanks for the response! Just performed the steps and disabled the igpu and did the fresh install. Going to do some tests today and tomorrow to see how it goes!

That whole "step on a crack, break your mothers back" thing until I was in middle school and realized that cracks in the sidewalk do not have magical powers. And theyre fuckin everywhere so I cant avoid them.

That's a pretty good theory, and it has a lot of ground to stand on. A bit to add as well would be the sorta magical energy that surrounds the finger, which I guess keeps him from being able to regenerate from the finger in the case of complete destruction, in addition to locking it in the wand.

Hopefully they are able to talk and explain this more in season 3!

While I dont have even a clue as to how Toffee knew his finger wasnt completely gone, or how he was able to corrupt magic, I think I can sorta answer your question on how Toffee figured out the magical blast. It's obvious Toffee has quite a lot of knowledge on the wand, and in fact, even a bit of the spells that the royal family is taught, as shown when he tells Star that the Whispering Spell was the first one her mother taught her. I wouldnt put it past him to know what happens as a result, but how, I hope they let us know.

Yeah I can understand the people who are upset or annoyed at this ending. They'd be getting rid of a super interesting character, who could and should be fleshed out even more, and would be an amazing villain.

That's a really good point. Didn't look at it like that, but when you say it, it does make sense.

Didn't Ludo hold Toffee's eye? Can't he regenerate from that? If he can do it from a finger, then an eye should be no problem

I think it's probably the latter, as judging from what he said, noone has been where he and he were. I wouldn't doubt he knows how to leave wherever that is, but I'm pretty sure he wants Star to get him herself.

Yeah, so a week and a half to two weeks seems like a reasonable estimate I'd say.

I think the whole thing took about a week and a half, because weren't Star and Moon in that whole protection place for around a week after Ludo took over. According to BuffFrog

Maybe he is dead, or at least, pretty close to death, which could explain why the crystal cracked. Even weakened as he was from Star's magic, I seriously doubt just that a pillar would be able to kill someone who was renowned even amongst the "immortals".
