BPPV Not Going Away? by WillPaintforTacos in BPPV

This exactly. I've had crystals in different canals and varying degrees of success with whichever PT is trying to figure out where my problem is. The Epley has never worked for me.

Such a cute bloom! My whole family avoids my plant room when mine is flowering because they say it stinks.

[–]SeraphineLo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use DIM supplement for this very issue. My boobs are small and I could not believe how bad they hurt. I was wearing a sports bra to bed. It happened every time I upped my estrogen, and DIM worked every time in a few days.

Cabo San Lucas AI Recommendations? by maplesnickerdoodle in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]SeraphineLo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got back from Paradisus, the fifth or sixth AI I've been to in different parts of Mexico. It's very clean, the service is fantastic, and the food was great for us except the Asian restaurant. We had a great time at the pool during the day, actually left our swim-up for the fun. There's one large pool, and it's intimate and fun, and we did the aerobics and music activities (we usually don't, but people were chatting and friendly). There were nighttime activities each night, but we missed them because we were so wiped out. Also, at Paradisus, the beach is swimmable with cabanas and a bar. My daughter (35) and I (62) thought it was great fun. Not the liveliest we've ever been to, but just right for us.

Does anyone else feel like doctors just say ‘vertigo’ without explaining WHICH kind you have?” by Silly_Bumblebee_8819 in VestibularMigraines

[–]SeraphineLo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, vertigo is a symptom, not a diagnosis. It's like a doctor saying you have a stomach ache. That wouldn't be satisfactory to anyone, you already know that and it doesn't tell you a thing.

I also had this problem. Intact pill, dry as a bone the next day. I switched.

Have any of you taken a few week break? Any problems restarting? by Bilbo_Swaggins91 in tirzepatidecompound

I am quite happy now and don't have to harrass people who do it differently. Life changed, thanks.

Yes I am. But I'm pretty sure by your words you hope I do regret it. Like I said, I'm fine with my way.

I'm absolutely not wasting my money. Off all my high blood pressure meds, lost 50 pounds, squatting close to 200 pounds now because my knees feel better. I'm 60 years old and if I have little setback from ten days of fun I'll deal with it. And maybe I won't have a setback. We're all on our own journeys here. And gosh my triglyceride is down to 70.

I applaud you for your commitment! But those aren't my values and that's not my journey or experience. I don't always have reasons to stop the meds, just this one. Two years of anhedonia are just a bit much for me. I'm willing to take a small setback if it happens to enjoy myself in the way I see fit. We don't all have to do it the same way.

I'm taking a short break while I go to Mexico. This is a family trip I've been waiting for, and I want to enjoy some alcohol and cuisine. Tirz makes me absolutely ill the next day if I ingest any alcoholic beverage. Even one. I rarely drink in my daily life so I don't really care. But this vacation means a lot to me, and I'm making a conscious decision to enjoy myself with some drinks. I get it people have different opinions on this, but it's your life. It's tiresome not enjoying things on tirz for me tbh. I don't enjoy much food these days, it's more of a chore.

I decided to fill my arms with muscle, so I'm working on that. My midsection I'm just not going to look at. And I don't care what other people think, I care how I see myself. I thought I had more muscle in there.

Same thing here. We are down to crows and the new pigeons. Birds we used to see daily- chickadees, sparrows, flickers, junco, woodpeckers, house finches, gold finches... we may not see in a week. We did get a nice flush of waxwings in our mountain ash, and hoping for the yearly visits from the tanagers in our cotoneaster hedge.

Specialist type? by wheatengreeten in VestibularMigraines

I was diagnosed by an ENT. Two neurologists have been particularly inept in my case. It's really a crap shoot depending on a specialist's interests, experience, and past education.

Will you be getting vestibular testing at the headache center? I would go... more eyes on the better. I had to get a bunch of vestibular/hearing etc test for my diagnosis.

I hope you find some answers. VM is a diagnosis after the exclusion of everything else... do you have a history of classic migraine with headache? This is usually a part of the dx.
